Empty 2025 24 Days Advent Calendar Large to Fill Cosmetics, Makeup, Perfume Packaging Paper Box, Valentin's Day EID Ramadan Gifts Cardboard (Red)

This would make a fine Advent calendar, but I re-purposed it as a gift for my Jewish friend. She lives in a winter-gloomy part of the country and has a high-performance, high-stress job. This box is so obviously Christmas that I spray painted the back and sides a dark blue. On the front I used contact paper in a winter-feeling pattern, and re-named it "Beat Back Winter" using stick-on letters. I think larger letters would have been better. The inside is still Christmasy, but that's OK.The idea was to have her open any drawer at random in the the dark days of winter where a little cheer would be a good thing. I filled the boxes with things I picked up everywhere from the local hardware store to here on Amazon to See's Candies and placed them in tissue in their drawers. None were particularly expensive, but all were chosen for their smile value. On one particularly difficult day, my friend invited a few co-workers to her office so they could open a drawer for themselves. It made them all smile, and that makes me smile.

I absolutely love this lovely red color Advent calendar box. Beautifully designed with individual and different sized drawers,one for each day of Advent. What a fun way to celebrate and even more fun to plan and buy the little gifts or trinkets for the drawers. I am making this for my grandaughter and including makeup and nail strips,jewelry and edible treats. She'll love opening each drawer. Great gift for children and adults. Well constructed to last years and great value for the money.
