Love this laser measurer - the dual laser functionality is extremely helpful to get a centre line for a stage.

The lasrer measure comes with many of the features now familiar with this type of instrument. Also a level indicator (inclineometer)with degrees shown. Very useful for finding the pitch of a surface or roof and elevations. The device also has some very useful extras built in, such as memories for previous measurements. I find this invaluable when making comparisons between distances. Other really useful features are a bluetooth connections and dual power supply. The measure can run of ordinary batteries (3 xAAA supplied) or it's own rechargeable battery. But it will also run with no charge in the internal rechargeable battery or 3 AAA fitted. If I plug the USB-C lead in it will run and charge at the same time. This kind of versatility makes this measure always available and active for use. Despite a whole bag of measuring options it offers, the one area that this and most digital measures fall down on is outside measurements in ambient daylight. The screen display is really good for indoor work, but just not bright enough for external natural light. Even on a cloudy day when I used this, I found it really hard to see the screen display, see my photo. IN addition to the low screen brightness, finding the laser dot outside can be almost impossible, again due to the dot not showing up because of the ambient brightness of natural daylight. In conclusion, I would say this is an excellent device for internal work, but be aware that outside use may prove challenging, especially in brightly lit conditions. Seeing the laser dot and reading the screen are definitely weak areas of this device, although this is fairly typical of this type of screen. For estate agents, interior designers and decorators, this is an invaluable tool. Well presented and it works really well with a host of features to satisfy all your measuring requirements, however, don't depend on it for external works.

Used for work and very easy

To be honest if it were not for the Amazon Vine program I would never entertain the thought of trying one of these gadgets out. I do a lot of diy and this does involve a lot of measuring and in many cases the distances are quite long and I would normally do this with a metal tape measure which has to be broken down into two measurements due to the limitations of the tape measure that I have. This gadget makes measuring a lot easier especially with those that cover a long distance. It uses a laser system and there are three on the unit, one firing out of each end and one firing vertical from the middle top. This allows you many combinations of taking a measurement depending on the scenario. For long distances there is a digital level to ensure that the unit is correctly level for an accurate measurement. I am in the process of designing decking that I will be installing when the weather gets better and this made measuring the garden area such a breeze. I just needed to make sure that there were blocks of wood at the end points so that the red laser could hit. There are plenty of settings to allow you to customise the unit for your needs and a downloadable app to use in conjunction with this to capture measurements for any project that you are working on. As I said, I would not even look at getting one of these due to the cost but having experienced using one I do think it is worth getting if you are a professional or in the process of renovating a whole house. I did find it such an easy thing to use and accurate.

It’s a quality product other than the printing on the machine. Almost impossible to see and if it gets covered in dust dirt in the workplace it’s very annoying.

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, warum man in zwei Richtungen Entfernungen messen können muss. Ich habe das Messgerät nun ausprobiert und muss sagen, dass ist doch viel cooler als gedacht. Man kann einen kompletten Raum vermessen, ohne sich groß zu bewegen. Man muss keine Wand freiräumen, keinen Sport machen oder in die Hocke gehen. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten, wie die automatische Berechnung der Quadratmeter oder auch des Volumens. Man kann dies sehr einfach über entsprechende Auswahlknöpfe auswählen. Das Display ist beleuchtet und auch im dunkeln super ablesbar. Geladen wird via USB-C. Ein Kabel liegt bei, ein Netzteil nicht. Der USB-Ladeport kann mit einem Schieber Wasserdicht gemacht werden, so eignet sich das Messgerät auch für den Außeneinsatz. Außerdem liegt eine Aufbewahrungstasche bei. Diese ist recht robust, so kann das Messgerät auch gut auf die Baustelle mitgenommen werden. Es gibt noch ein paar weitere Vermessungsoptionen, wie zum Beispiel die Winkelmessung über Distanz. Was ist damit gemeint? Man kann von einer Position im Raum zum Beispiel die Unterkante eines Objekts messen, das Messgerät drehen und dann einen Punkt oberhalb dieser Kante. Anschließend wird der Abstand von der unteren zur oberen Kante angezeigt. So kann man einen Raum und auch Objekte vermessen, ohne sich bewegen zu müssen. Alle Knöpfe haben einen guten Druckpunkt und ich habe eigentlich fast nichts zu meckern. Einen Punkt gibt es aber doch: Die Silikonsocke passt nicht wirklich gut und macht eine aufgelegte Winkelmessung unmöglich. Ändert aber nichts an den Möglichkeiten des Produkts. Ich bin begeistert.
