I love everything about this brand. I have used a couple other haircare products by them, and I am always impressed. Now I finally had the chance to try their hair color! Application was pretty similar to other brands, and I found everything I needed in the box: gloves, color activator, and the "demi-permanent" color creme itself. I love how the instructions are printed on the inside of the box! The only thing missing was a post-color conditioner, which is usually my favorite part of coloring my hair at home. As it turns out, I didn't really need that, plus I had another dpHUE conditioner that I used. Either way, I loved how my hair felt when I was finished! Super soft and shiny, and the color was exactly what I'd wanted and expected. It's been about a week since I colored my hair, and of course, I still have that same beautiful color. I wasn't going for any drastic change, though, and my hair already is blonde, so I don't know how well this hair color can live up to its "16 washes" promise yet, especially for more dramatic color changes. But so far, it is so so so good! I'm excited enough about how my hair looks and feels, but the icing on this Golden Blonde cake is that dpHUE is 100% cruelty-free! The brand doesn't test any of their finished products OR ingredients on any animals other than humans, and they actually promise that they never, ever will. They're even certified by Leaping Bunny. I'm so happy to have discovered this brand, and I will continue to use this to color my hair. Highly recommended!

Not sure what all the hype is about. Doesn’t last long. The colour gloss is so much better

Absolutely no gray coverage. Followed the instructions which say to apply to clean, damp hair. Did not try it on dry hair. But if the instructions are wrong….?

I like how this packaging comes with everything you need. Also, how the box can unfold to be the perfect workspace! I have darker hair and I don’t feel like it was extremely dramatic and the color change.

Boxed hair dye has come quite a loong way from the 80's. THe color here is a demi-permanent option, that's ammonia free, zero-lift, and lasts up for 16 shampoos. I'm a few shampoos in, and color looks just as fresh as new. Pretty good payout for a process that can take 20 minutes (always takes me longer). This is a great color! I have light blonde hair that I beached and cut short during Covid…so now it’s long and has super light ends. I wanted this to even out my color because it looks close to my natural blonde. I love it! That is exactly what it did! It’s definitely a warm golden color and it looks great! My hair is no worse for the wear. I actually hope this color lasts longer than the 16 washes because I like it a lot!

The golden blonde color that I chose is extremely accurate to the results that I got. It was exactly as expected. The dye made my hair, feel soft afterwards and did not feel damaged. It was convenient that the one box had everything that I needed to color my hair. I appreciate that it is not a permanent color so I am able to comfortably use this without damaging my hair too much.
