This is my 2nd Songmics 2x8 Trash Can. This one is upgraded from my first. My 1st was in excellent condition but the ex took it. Whatever. I got a new one. The new 2x8’s have an easy lift top and the lids will stay open if you want. Still no solution for the inner cans lifting when you want to empty them but that’s fine. This is an excellent quality trash can. Super convenient with trash and Recycle. It looks great and blends right in. Low profile in the room. It’s narrow or slim and fits perfectly.

Just got mine in the mail today and I must say it’s a good quality one. The size is great. It looks sturdy and it’s very similar to the simple human trashcan. It was packaged up perfectly, and I love the fact that it came with sample trash bags. I will update if anything happens.

Large, equal size trash and recycle bins. The noise level of closing is very low, but we have a piece of furniture behind it and sometimes opening a door quickly will slap the thing behind it. Ease of use is great, separate pedals for each bin and the pedals are easy to push for a quick opening of the door. For me, the dog protection this provides is excellent, mostly because I have a small dog. I'd use this if I had a larger dog, as it's quite sturdy and I don't think a dog would knock it over

Nice trash/recycling combo waste can. Convenient to use, attractive, we like the of a foot peddle for opening each receptical independently. The only thing we don’t care for is the trash can liners (tall kitchen liners) we usually get are too short.

I’ve been searching everywhere for a dual-compartment trash can that could hold 13 gallons on each side. After coming up empty for months, I finally decided to try this one. It’s the only model I found that’s both large enough and has equal-sized compartments. Pros: Both the recycling and trash compartments are the same size and can easily fit standard 13-gallon bags, so there’s no need to buy special bags from the manufacturer. The stainless-steel finish looks sleek and does a good job resisting fingerprints. When the bags are installed correctly, the lid seals tightly and keeps odors contained. Overall, it works exactly as expected, and compared to similar models, the price feels fair. Black lids and stainless steel color easily matches the rest of my kitchen. Cons: It’s not a true 13 gallons per side. As shown in my uploaded photos, adding a few more gallons of capacity wouldn’t have changed the footprint much. I wish it came with labels or indicators for trash vs. recycling. Guests kept mixing them up, so I ended up buying stickers to put on the lid. Despite those minor issues, I’m happy with the purchase—it does the job well and looks great in the kitchen.

It fits perfectly in my kitchen, looks so much better and one trash can and a 50lb empty rice bag for recyclables.

This trashcan/recycling can is amazing. Easy to take the trash out and easy to organize. It fits perfectly in the spot i wanted it at.not noise at all. Weight, its pretty light. Really sturdy. Great functionality.
