Terrific Christmas gift for 5 year old! The included prizes are cute and reasonably easy to pick up. The prize variety is good, too. The claw seems pretty strong. The machine comes with several black plastic coins to use. I tried using a real quarter and it did not work. However, other play money coins worked fine. The coin receptacle is easy to open yet closes securely. Fun for adults, too! Very happy with my purchase!

I bought this for my son for Christmas and it is super cute and super fun to play!! definitely worth the money. This is a great Christmas present or a gift and I would definitely buy it again.

This game is great for toddlers. Works really well. Dont expect it to act like a real claw machine you put in a coin and get 60 seconds to try as many times as you want and have to manually bring the toys back to the slot and drop them yourself.

My son loves this! It's super cute and keeps him occupied. He's almost five and was able to figure it out quite quickly. Only complaint is if the toys are in the back of the machine, the claw doesn't go all the way to the wall to pick them up. So he ends up shaking the entire machine to move them around. Otherwise it's a cool toy!

Doesn't work with batteries. My kids got one of these (green version) for Christmas. It worked with USB power but not with the AA batteries. I returned it. The kids still wanted one so I replaced it (for $5 more than the discounted price the gift-giver paid, but that is Amazon's fault not the manufacturer). This one has the same problem, doesn't work with AA batteries, only works when it's plugged in. I suspect that probably all of these do not work under battery power. But now the kids have been playing with it for an hour, and I am skeptical that returning it will yield a different result. So we'll probably just keep the broken one.

I remember playing the crane cane when I was younger and this game brought back a lot of memories. Easy to set up and operate.

This gets used at every event we bring it to. This is built tough and is a ton of fun. We use it in events as a play until you win theme. Used constantly and still rocking. Has had countless kid hands from every age range and every spectrum. This thing will last because it was built for it. Seriously, great value. Bought a second option from them and got another game machine.
