These are quite good fun; there’s plenty of decent presets or you can make your own (which can be a little tricky) or you can use a design other folk have made. It comes with everything you need to hang them up. Up close, it’s hard to see the designs so you wouldn’t get a good effect in a small room but it looks much better once you’re a good few feet away. We’ve been enjoying entertaining our neighbours over Christmas with different settings!

Bought these in the sale last January and couldn't wait to use them. As a confirmed, "Christmas should be tacky" consumer, these lights have excelled my expectations. They are brilliant. They are easy to use ie change the brightness, the picture etc. I'm so pleased I bought them.

Great product

The Govee Curtain Lights 2 can be daisy chained together, but ONLY if you buy the DOUBLE or TRIPLE packs. At the time of writing this, you aren't able to power 2 single packs from the same plug, even though you can physically connect 2 sets together. Nowhere in the product description, the Govee website or the supplied user manual does it mention this. Hopefully Govee will allow this in a future software update. Aside from that annoyance, these are perfect. They're bright, colourful and have a load of pre-made scenes available to display. Or you can design your own. Connection is via 2.4Ghz WiFi. Initial setup requires Bluetooth. They are Matter Compatible to fit your Home Assistant, Smartthings, Google Home, Amazon Echo, Apple Homekit needs. The provided 3M Clips and hooks allow you to install these anywhere. Walls, Windows, Doors, Voids... you name it, they are very versatile lights suitable for all year round. **2025 UPDATE** Govee have made it possible to connect two single curtain lights via a software update. There's some latency between each light as you change the scene, but were talking milliseconds to a maximum of one second.

Nice product for now, I got 2 delivered the other day. Free today to install it all to realise that one works and one doesn't like amazon what kind of joke is this? I paid this product for black friday deal, now what's gonna happen? For sure the faulty one is going back, my kids are disappointed their light surprises ruined. I need exchange for a real functional one and I ain't paying any extra cos i got this product for black friday deal. Unbelievable!! You hear and read stories about this product now I am experiencing the problem. I need solution immediately.

I enjoy experimenting with new styles of smart lights and I liked the idea of this, but due to it's high cost I expected a lot more from it. The density of the lights just isn't high enough to really achieve what it is trying to do, unless you have a huge room and view from a long range it won't look great for a lot of designs. Hopefully a future revision will put the lights closer together and allow it to work well even in smaller environments. The unit also has a large box that is on a short cable so it can't be put on the ground, it seems a bit odd having to hang a big box on the wall with the lights. I found the installation and trying to make it not look messy fairly tricky. I also found the software to be a bit limited while trying to setup custom animations, importing an exact resolution gif doesn't map the pixels cleanly 1:1, it seems to process the image in an unnecessary way and doesn't give the clean control that it should. It has other modes but they also have their own limitations, I found just fudging the results on a gif to be the only way to get what I wanted so it took a fair bit of messing around and for less technical people who don't know how to make their own animated gifs you'll be a lot more limited with what you can do with it. Overall it felt like a product that wasn't quite where it needed to be and priced way too high for the result you get.

Brilliant even my neighbour likes it when I change the way it illuminates Govee gear is very good looking for some more Govee kit at some stage, easy to setup lights very bright but can be dimmed to what is required connects even though it’s at the bottom of the garden

First time using brilliant easy set up worked well through the Christmas festive . Stored away after festival use new festive season tried setting up the lights as per previous year one set will not power on , tried hard resets power direct nothing is working to one set of the light's the other set of lights no issues. Dam not great

The Govee Curtain Lights 2 are excellent! They offer 520 LEDs with tons of design options available through the app, including DIY GIF/AIGC modes. Installation is easy, and the kit comes with supports and a long power cable, making setup simple. The auto on/off timer is convenient, and the lights are bright and colorful, making any room or window stand out during festivals. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use, and the IP65 waterproof rating adds extra durability, but I'm using it indoor only.
