Easy to install and worked well for my Jerry cans. I liked so much that I bought a second set and attached traction boards to the other side. Easy on, easy off by loosening the bolts/nuts. Doesn’t cause damage to the hard top and secures very well.

These are half the price of the "Other" brand. They work well and carried 4 gallons of water on each side of the Jeep through the Colorado Mts. No problems. Only thing is, you cannot see well with them on. Have to use mirrors and really pay attention when changing lanes.

Install took about 2 hours (including mounting the boards). I was glad they included rubber bumpers and rubber coating on the gutter clamps - not all makes do. It’s a little to small to really be able to effectively mount MaxTrax MK2’s - I wouldn’t recommend it for that because you’ll either need to drill new holes in your boards or end up with kinda half-secured setup as I done (top holes / handles only). Even so - it’s held in place by three knobs that are hand tightened down, which is probably the worst option for something like this where you would want some sort of lock / pin / latch to fully secure it.Some have commented about it being loose - not the case for me - I got it fitted, very loosely tightened down the small screws on the arms (there’s two), then snugged up the screw on top and went back to tighten now both screws for zero movement.All in all 4 stars because no issues, but it being a little undersized for traction boards and a bit heavy (aluminum would have been better) dropped a star - keeping in mind the price. For the cost (I payed $80) versus what you get, it’s worth it. The quality seemed good as well - everything lined up and the welds looked fine. I did have to do some grinding / cutting of the rods - but that’s to be expected when you spend less than $100 and want a seamless fit.

Love this. There is nothing out there for the two door but this works. It was easy to put on and I was able to put my traction boards on them

Simple solution! Just replace existing upper rubber (silicone) mounts to a longer rubber (silicone) mount and screw.1- First addressing the flimsy structure feeling: unlike competitors the plate where you usually mount the rotopax is 2 pieces, hold by 3 screw, washer and silicone threaded nut. None of the pictures show this. So i use treadlock RED! hope it holds. Why JOYTUTUS did this?2- The description of fitment is inaccurate. It will fit perfect on a pree-JL not so 2018+.JL Models have a tapered hardtop and the hardware included in kit needs to include bigger upper mounts to offset the gap (shown in pictures). Bigger mounts will keep the arms in place and avoid movement as you go on trails or simple do what JEEPS do best. Upper mounts will actually make contact with side body of the top past the window if only they were 3/4 '' bigger.JL design roof is Not square like pre -JL models.I would not recommend this product for a JL Jeep. Unless it is refitted and includes the correct hardware.I will reach out to JOYTUTUS and ask for the propper mounts, and depending on results i will add or remove stars.

Difficult to install. To many small parts. To many screws.

It’s good but could be so much better if they used higher quality parts.I installed this on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe on the rear driver side window. I mounted two of my recovery tracks to it and kept a careful eye on them while driving , especially when driving on the highway. For what it’s worth, they did not go anywhere. The problems started after about 2-3 months of having them on, I did notice rust coming from the mounting screws that go into the panel, and some rust coming from the top most bracket that hooks into the hard top gutter. I think from the contact and tightness, the paint scraped off and rusted through. I did only hand wash the truck while having this installed, but one day I made the fatal mistake of running my jeep through automated car wash. It made it about half way through before one of the brushes knocked the mount clean off the side of the truck. I was able to recover the mount , and discovered the fatal flaw - the two bolts that connect the arms. Unfortunately, the manufacturer used two smaller sized bolts and no supplied washers or fasteners to secure these two bolts on either side of the mount. This is where my mount loosened and fell off from. Not the manufacturers fault for me making the car wash mistake, but it did show that given the right circumstances this mount could come loose and fly off, which is scary if you drive on a highway and could send this 70mph into someone’s windshield. I think if they used a better bolt/securing mechanism on this for the two connecting brackets, it would be worth the money. Unfortunately, with the cheap hardware they supplied, thin metal, and paint that comes off too easily to rust, this is a 3 star product at best. Apparently there is a newer version of this product, but I do not know if they beefed up the hardware on that one.
