It’s very heavy, but I think it’s supposed to be. I cooked a few things and it works as it should. I saw one similar at William Sonoma and it was 3-4x the price. Not sure if that one was made with the years of a dying unicorn. It’s easy to clean, I hand wash. It seems as though the entire pot is heated evenly no particular hotspots or cold spots. Definitely worth the price and the quality of the pot seems good, but this my first Dutch oven so you can take that with a grain of salt. I would buy this brand again, just not this big of a pot.

Very pleased! I'm using my 6 quart pot frequently, and love the even heat, stove-to- oven convenience, and ready cleanup. It's pretty enough to leave on my stove all the time.

Beautiful Dutch oven! But very heavy, so be careful lifting out of oven or off stovetop! Well made and cleans up easily. Much larger than I pictured it would be, but I like large pots for making soups and bread, which I have done and they all cook evenly with no scorching. Easy to clean, just let it cool to room temperature before washing or could crack the enamel.

Gorgeous color, heats evenly and doesn’t stick. Necessary tool in every kitchen.

Great for cooking stews, beans or pot roasts whether on the stove and/or in the oven according. Minor issue is because it is a 6 quart size the weight is such that you have to use both hands when moving this pot around - especially if cooking or baking with the top on. Great value for the price.

This is a fabulous Dutch oven pot; it worked perfectly in the oven and on top of the stove for the dish I was preparing, sealed in the flavor and washed beautifully. I’m considering keeping it on top of the stove as it has beauty to my kitchen.

This pot is great! The heat distribution works great. I have another pot that is just as good but this is a much better value for money. I’m very happy and I love the color.

Package arrived in time for Christmas. Due to the condition of the box, was initially concerned that there might be some hidden damage but it seemed to be fine. After unpacking, noticed one very small area on the edge of the lid that did not seem to be completely covered by the enamel coating, but otherwise the piece was in great condition. Was exactly the right size and color that my wife wanted. Used it for the first time in early January to try a new recipe for Chicken Cacciatore and worked wonderfully. Seared the meat nicely and then braised it for several hours in a tomato based sauce. Nothing stuck to the inside of the dutch oven, it cleaned up perfectly and looked like it had never been used. Great addition to our kitchen. Would have given five stars but for that spot on the lid.
