Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm sold on this, I'm getting another setup going and found my automatic watering. I've read the reviews on other solar watering and what I've read scared me. I luckily came across this one and the reviews are right, this one works and they even have the solar part down pat. It has recharged itself since I've got this and its charging through my grow lamps. It's a self support system for growing plants. Highly recommend Ease of use: So simple a child could set this. I didn't read the instructions because everything is right there and super easy to figure out. Leakage: The t's and watering spikes run smoothly and no leaks at all Battery life: Should last forever with my lamps recharging the solar panel. Battery stays full Timer: Very simple to set and operate Watering capacity: Like the fact that you can use it in 3 different modes. Automatic, humidity and manual. Once you set the time then the only real chore is to make sure the bucket is filled, Durability: This is plastic so I wouldn't man handle the pieces and everything fits perfectly and snuggled so the tubing and packaging was perfectly done so nothing kinked or broken. Let's talk about a big feature this product has in a sea of similar devices. The repeat watering time is as low as every hour. If you have special requirements to water as often as once an hour, this is your pump. To put it to the test, I ran it hourly for 10 minutes per watering, for seven days. Not a single hiccup, the battery level only budges when pumping indicating that the solar panel is very effective at keeping the battery charged with 24 hours a day use. The pause feature pauses only the next watering and then returns to the normal cycle. This is probably best for most use cases. Using it to water once a day in the morning, I could pause it for the next day if rain was forecast. The pump lift is good, used it in a 55 gallon drum as well a 5 gallon bucket. The distribution system is simple, no adjustment per stake, but using a single/double stake system, I cover two different sized pots easily. I have a question about whether it is completely rainproof so I put a little plastic hat over it, no troubles in pouring rain. So far this is a rock solid product, I've been running it for a month with zero issues. I definitely would purchase it again.

It functions well to water up to 15 plants, and it is easy to set. I deduct a star due to the interval can only be set up to 7 days, but some of my plants only needs water every 2 weeks in the winter. It also lacks of a count down days.

We needed an automatic drip watering system for our many potted plants while we were traveling and this kit was perfect. The kit allowed for a custom installation with the easy scissor cutting of the discharge tubing and the push on fittings to each plant. The drip diffusers worked great keeping each plant watered while we were gone. the controller was easy to program for two waterings a day, morning and evening even setting the run time for the pump. Solar charging panel makes sure it never runs out the batteries. Assembly and programming were both straightforward and the instructions easy to follow.

Purchased this system because I was going on a vacation and I needed to keep my plants alive when I was gone. It worked great! My plants were happy and their soil was moist when I got back. Pros: - The control knob is easy to use and understand. Keep in mind that you'll need to press "OK" when changing anything to make sure it saves. - The kit came with lots of tubing; I didn't need it all to water 9 plants total (including one small tree). - The solar panel works very well to keep the battery charged - The water pressure is strong enough to consistently water 9 plants, assuming you use the drip stakes. I noticed that if I didn't use the drip stakes then only one or a few plants would get all the water and there was not enough pressure to reach the rest of the plants. Adding the drip stakes reduces the water output but then you can just increase the time of the watering / add more drip stakes. Worked well! Cons: - The glue between the solar panel and the solar panel mount failed so the panel fell off. Thankfully, it was still face up when I was gone. I will replace the glue and continue to use it. - The device can only be powered through the provided solar panel. There is no other input power method. However, the plug to the solar panel seems to be a standard barrel plug so using an external power supply may be possible. Overall, I'm happy with this product.

THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS. THERE ARE VIDEOS, BUT THEY ARE NOT CLEAR about why it comes with a little black plastic thing, screws/anchors, how to assemble this hot mess! I am well educated, 2 undergraduate degrees and a law degree. I spent 1 hour watching the set up videos and it the thing does not work!!!!! Why would any seller not include SET UP INSTRUCTIONS!!!!! BEWARE! I will have to return or find a professional to make sure it works during my 4 week vacation ! Not at all impressed!

The battery started to fade after about 5 months and I reached out to the seller. They sent a replacement for me which arrived a few weeks later. The device works well - it's simple and requires a little bit of finessing to cut the tubes to get the drips correct, but otherwise easy to use.

Works well easy, to set up. Would be better if you could replace batteries or recharge it without needing the solar panel.

The product was easy to install and worked well. Good performance for the price. Additionally, I had a doubt and the customer service answer was very quick and effective. Satisfied with the system so far.

So far so good, this has been excellent for the polly tunnel and save loads of time. No issues with charging and easy to fit. My one gripe would be better instructions for the 1 way release valve. Fit it the wrong way and it constantly drains water. All good now though and no performance issues.
