Im literally so impressed. Hands down the best straightener I've ever used. It normally takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to do my hair with a regular flat iron or a thermal brush but was shocked when I was done with super straight hair within 30 minutes and I stopped to eat a spring roll in the middle haha. I didnt have any issues with my ends straightening like some reviews said and it seems to work better with bigger chunks of hair. The steam actually makes a difference I was skeptical about that part but it made my hair so smooth and soft. Very glad I purchased.

I’m a mother to three and work night shift so let me just tell you that I do NOT have the energy to do my hair and as women having a good hair day makes us feel like we’re on top of the world. I started going to get my hair done regularly just so it’ll give me a reason to straighten it but that’s where my problem would be at..I didn’t want to spend long periods of time doing my hair. My old straightener, meaning the one before this one that I only had for a year, would take me 25 minutes to straighten my thick wavy hair and I wasn’t a fan. If I’m being realistic here, I’m not one of those women who have it together even though I kinda want to but one day I came across a video of a women using this and I immediately ran to Amazon and checked out the reviews for myself. Now with that being said before I left a review I had to use it because I’m not about to promote something that I don’t firmly stand beside, I don’t care how much someone would offer me because honesty is key but once I ordered this it only took a few days to come in which was a plus. The packaging was nice and clean and there was no damage. The brush straighteners incredibly nice and you can tell it’s made with good quality materials unlike what you’d get from the stores. It has different temperatures so depending on your hair and the thickness you can adjust the heat level to what would work best for you which is another plus because not every women’s hair is the same. Now the problem with “brush straighteners” is that they don’t work but this one? Baby you need this because what went from 25 minutes to straighten this long thick wavy hair now only takes me 8 minutes! And yes you’re reading it right! EIGHT MINUTES! It is SO easy to use so to the older ladies, you will not have a problem using! At the end of the day there is cheaper straighteners but you will get exactly what it is that you pay for and in my opinion, I think the price is worth it. It easily glides through my hair and leaves it straight and shiny. It has a little department where you add water so I think that’s what helps and you can also use while your hair is damp- which I haven’t but it’s still a nice feature to have! This doesn’t only work on white women but women of color and women of all hair types. If you’re looking for a straightener that will get the job done that won’t take you half an hour to get straight hair, this is the product you need. I will be buying another for the women in my family when birthdays come around. Definitely recommend and would give this 10 stars if I could!!!!

This product has saved my hair, time, and money! No more going to the hair salon unless I absolutely want to. More than amazing silk press results; hair is straight without so many passes and you can get close to the roots. My hair has never been this smooth, shiny, and healthy feeling, while doing my own hair nor coming from the salon. It helps to seal cuticles too and great for those who are transitioning. Way easier to use than similar products that don't use steam. I love the design and it is built to last. I will be buying another so I have a back up. Excellent on the heat settings too!

I have very tight curls and it's did a good job straightening my hair. By the end of the day, my hair was frizzy and starting to get wavy. But it was easy to use, I was able to work through all of my hair quickly, and it did stay straight for the majority of the day.

I’m shocked but this thing ACTUALLY lives up to all the hype. I took a chance and bought this to help me straighten my young daughter’s thick 4c hair . I didn’t have high expectations but, baby this thing delivered you hear me ? It was super easy to use and it made her hair soft , straight and shiny with one pass. I could’ve did multiple passes but I wasn’t looking to get her hair bone straight and I’m trying to limit heat. I was surprised how well it worked even thought I never used the highest heat setting . I would definitely recommend blow drying the hair as smooth as you can first and using small sections. That process did take some time but I feel like I came away with salon quality results. 10 outta 10 !

Living 35 miles southwest of Chicago, I’ve battled brutally hard water for years. It’s left my hair dry, frizzy, and lifeless, especially after blow-drying, which only makes things worse. Air drying? Puffy and dull... I was stuck. Then I found the Wavytalk Steam Straightener, and everything changed. This isn’t your average hot brush. It looks like one, but you don’t brush through your hair; you glide it slowly down each section while holding the ends. Once I used it properly, the results were instant. One pass, and my hair looked like I just left the salon. Smooth, shiny, and healthy, not fried or flat. The steam locks in moisture instead of stripping it, which is a miracle if you deal with hard water or humidity. I even used it on my niece’s thick, wavy hair. It took a few extra passes, but in 20 minutes, her hair was sleek and glowing. Mine’s fine, so one or two passes is all it takes. Bonus: it has adjustable heat settings, so it works for all hair types. And if you live somewhere with hard water, use distilled water in the steam chamber; it keeps the tool clean and your hair happy. Now my hair stays smooth for days, even in humidity. I get compliments constantly. If you’re tired of frizz, dryness, or dullness, this tool is absolutely worth it and worth every dollar.

While it does work faster and actually gets the roots AND ends of my hair, I dont think Ill use it. For starters, I can achieve a silk press fairly easily with any tool. This is close to my silk press but still leave me with a lot of body and minor frizz, with some poof at the roots. I kinda like it because it makes my hair seem fuller and heavier, vs thin and flat flat. My wash and dry process has been mastered for my hair so I can get bone straight. I did video the dry side vs the steam brush side for reference. So by the time I straighten Im good to go and it lasts me until I decide to wash which is every 4wks or whenever my hair feels dry. I hardly lose hair during wash, blow drying or flat ironing. This thing pulled out more of my hair than Im willing to risk lol its like my hair wasnt getting noticeably caught but when I looked at the brush I was confused because it pulled my hair out. I havent gotten this much breakage in almost a year and that was from neglect and trying to flat iron a week old blow out.. I know better. So to see these pieces break off kinda scare me that Ive set myself back a bit. It wasn't a handful but that's how little I lose that even 5 strands is a lot. My hair was pretty blown straight, so much so that I wasnt even going to silk it but wanted to test this. I have 4a/b type hair. It also burned my scalp twice and can get pretty hot if the steam spits out, which btw took a while to even happen. It made the sounds but no steam. Then when it finally did, the water had run out. So Im not even sure that I can say Ive 100% used the steaming portion rather than just the heated brush. And the brush gets quite hot. Its not heavy or anything and straightens well. I just think maybe its not for me. I didnt get to my healthy length and texture for nothing lol. I think the thing that makes it work so well is the part that also breaks my hair, and thats the curve of the teeth which mimics the pressing of a plate like regular irons. Like others have said it doesnt leave the burn smell. It does get my ends but my blow dry process ensures that. You have to have 100% smooth hair or this will take any stragglers, kinks or curls. Even with my method I may lose a few small ends that are probably already broken and split.. but this took so much more than Im used to. Update: days later and my hair is plenty drier. My normal routine keeps me moisturized for weeks and I even add oil to the ends now for an extra boost. This thing isnt for me. Its for those who either already have straighter hair, or girls with kinky hair that dont know how to manage it so any form of "straight" they achieve makes them leap for joy. This just gives you basically a really good blow out texture appeal. It will encourage you to use excessive heat. Im a once per month maybe straightener type, not multiple uses. Also now has burnt hair smell after use, like any other iron.
