Expensive but great quality
The rice has a bit of a smell when you cook it, but this does not affect taste at all. For cooking, I do the following. For 250g of uncooked rice Wash the rice well so the water runs clear Drain and add to a pan Add 280-300ml of cold water Bring to the boil mix the rice with a fork to prevent sticking to the bottom add a lid to the pan and reduce to a simmer for 10 mins remove from the heat and leave for 45mins with the lid on serve This gives me great fluffy sushi-grade rice that takes on sushi seasoning well and is sticky enough to form into any shape you want. Over all it is expensive but very tasty and worth the extra cost

Sticky, Filling Just a extremely good rice worth its weight in gold
Makes extremely good sticky rice great for use in sushi. Was not difficult to make a restaurant quality dish using this rice. Its is slightly sweet by its self making it perfect to use as a low calory filler.

Good value, Great taste. WASH YOUR RICE
The best rice ever. I will happily eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Though this rice does benefit from some extra time to prepare. Wash your rice at least 3 times until the water is clear and then allow to soak for at least 20 minutes but no more than an hour. I have found 40 minutes to be ideal. Then into the rice cooker with a pinch of salt in the water. Allowing it to finish cooking and steam for a further 5 minutes past the cook time on your rice cooker. The ideal water to rice ratio for those who don't use the knuckle measurement is 1 cup of rice to 1.25 of water if you soak the rice beforehand. This give you fluffy, beautifully fragrant rice that makes a perfect accompaniment for any meal, or on its own. I tend to keep it simple with the rice served in a bowl with an egg, either a raw egg yolk mixed in or a soft boiled or poached egg and a little soy sauce. I will say, if you're looking for rice for fried rice this isn't it. You need medium groan rice such as jasmine rice for that. Otherwise this rice is good for everything. Because of gut problems I eat a lot of this rice as I find it easy to digest but filling and, unlike basmati which is so popular in the UK, it actually has flavour on its own, without needing any spices. This rice should be a welcome addition to anyone's pantry.

expensive, yes. better? maybe.
I've finally bit the bullet and bough some *real* sushi rice - koshihikari, grown in japan. Was it good? yes, it absolutely was. Was it better? eh, it was .. a bit better. Or rather, this rice was perfect; the other, less expensive rice, was almost perfect. Is the cost difference worth it? Maybe. In the end, even this more expensive package, still doesn't cost that much per-serving. if you just look at the cost-per-pound then i would say no, but during real-life use, i really don't feel like i've overspent. i can't say for sure but there's a good chance i'll move entirely to high-quality rice from now on.

夜11時頃ネット注文して朝ご飯をお食べ終わる頃には届きました。気圧の低い場所なので圧力鍋で炊いているので参考にはならないかもしれませんがおいしかったです。

The seller (Super Foods Express Ltd) gives false informations about the weight of the product and only ships only one package (I ordered 10 kg for 49,99 € and only got 5 kg). I do not recommend to buy here, unless you want to spend 50€ for 5kg...
