Easy, fun and good price
Let me start by saying, this is a review of the kit not the x-maker 3d printer. This kit is fantastic. It's fun to make, has a number of different music box options to print (not just the carousel) and easy for an 11 year old to do independently. I did use the x-maker 3d printer and it's required app to print the parts so I don't know how well it works with other printers. The x-maker app is horrible so I took away one star for that. However, if it really works with other printers then I'd say it's 5 stars as an independent kit. I hope they make lots more of these easy, fun 3d printer kits for kids, especially at this price point.
