This WORKS to calm my dog!
This truly helps my dog to calm down. I have a little yorkie. He's afraid of scissors and the sound of the trimmers. Putting this on him before we start and talking to him.He calms down within 2 - 3 minutes.

It would be better to have a color or writing on the the mask to indicate the top versus bottom

Dog eye mask
This helps my dog who has very very strong anxiety when going out to the vets so this I definitely recommend it helps her to stay a little calmer, even though she can hear stuff around her. It basically keeps her not highly stressed so if you have a dog that gets easily panicked or has anxiety. I do recommend this only as necessary for certain things not all the time to like groomers vet appointments you know things that your dog doesn’t enjoy.

Exceptional tool for reactive dogs
I have a reactive 11 month old puppy that will lunge & bark at other dogs while out on a walk. The headache walking our dog was so awful. Now however walking the pup with this specific mask along with Prozac has helped tremendously. I've tried all the calming caps on amazon and the Chewy brand cap and this one is the best for a few reasons. First, the cap does not slide on the dogs face while on a walk. My puppy tries to take it off from time to time and she can not due to the positioning of the cap and material. Second, the cap allows for the dog to breath while on a walk. The cover around her muzzle is loose enough so she can get those breaths in while on a walk. Third, the cap doesn't slip. The dogs eyes are fully covered and stay that way while on a walk. Overall incredibly happy with my purchase. If you have a reactive dog and need help for walks, vet visits etc. this product is cheap and incredibly helpful.

This was so tight around the muzzle and caused my dog pain. I would NOT recommend this product!!!
