There’s a catch…
Good quality for the price, but arrives covered in machine oil. You’ll need to clean every tab by hand. But it definitely won’t rust in transit.

Cover in Oil!
It is covered in oil. My hands are an oily mess. Haven't used it yet, because I will need to wash every one of them first. Disappointing.

They Work Well for Checking Guitar String Clearances
I purchased this feeler guage for measuring distances between guitar strings and frets. My only complaint is the oil on the guages. I have to dry each one thoroughly before using so that I don't get any oil on the neck or strings.

The feeler gauge came in a small plastic bag with a lot of cosmoline (for those who are not familiar with the term, it is a wax like petroleum based corrosion inhibor). According to the product description, it is stainless steel. I don't think that it was neccessary to plunge it into this much protective stuff if it was stainless. Anyways.. I wiped the protective coat with some degreaser and put it into the plastic bag again for future use. Recently I was checking some flat surface with a precision straight edge and needed the feeler gauge. As I removed it from the plastic bag thingy, it was covered with black / brownish spots all over. I have used some industrial cleaners (Loctite) to remove the spots, unfortunately no success. The only way to remove the spots was to use Sabitori rust erasers, which left unfortunately some sand marks on them. I can not recommend the set at all. Stay away.
