Distinctive Washing Powder - Best Biological Laundry Detergent For Amazing Smelling Clothing - Eco, Eliminates Odours, Masculine Sandalwood and Amber Fragrance - (3 x 1.2kg) 60-90 Washes : desertcart.co.uk: Grocery Review: "Husband"-Scented - I came across this brand of washing powder when I finally got fed up with traditionally scented laundry soap. They all seem to be flowery or fruity, and even "unscented" soaps tend to have a, well, "soapy" smell I'm not a fan of. I /wanted/ a scented washing powder, but I wanted something that smelled "masculine." Of course it's hard to shop for scents online, and carefully designed fragrances tend to be more costly than cheap ones (it's a complex art), so I held off on purchasing this for awhile, mainly because of the cost, and the idea of being stuck with a bag of soap powder I might not want to use. I found that my cheap [store of choice]-own-brand was actually making my clean clothes smell WORSE, and finally gave in to gut, and bought the Opulence of Amber. (Annoyingly, their "relaxing fragrance" has lavender in it, a floral scent I cannot abide at all.) Friends, this stuff really lives up to its claims. To be honest the suit and tie image on the packaging is kind of tacky (the fabric looks cheap and the tie is crooked FFS!!!) but I get what they were going for. This fragrance puts me in mind of a well dressed man who has dabbed just the right amount of niche-line cologne above the collar of his bespoke jacket before picking me up in his tastefully luxurious but not overpriced car, taken me to dinner at a place that's just slightly too good for me, casually ordered a bottle of Dom Pérignon, and kept me on edge all evening with his quick wit and respectful but sensual flirting. Yes, I'm a little bit in love! Ladies, gentlemen, and omnigendered potential readers, I do not mean to say this powder smells like "money", I mean that it smells of manhood characterised by good taste, refinement, attention to detail, of someone who has the will and ability to care about and care for himself and his clothes, and maybe care for some other special someone as well. As I write this it is currently the hottest weak of the year in the UK. Like a good perfume/cologne, the fragrance seems to react with body heat, becoming a little stronger and more complex as the day wears on. I wish I had the vocabulary of a specialist to give you specific "bass notes" and "top notes." All I know is that I smell super sexy right now. Performance-wise, it's a great washing powder. More expensive per kilo than your standard stuff, but you get plenty of mileage out of a small amount. "Less is more" really does apply to laundry soaps in general, and this one in particular. It works at all temperatures, so if you care for your environment as much as your clothes you can stay at 30 degrees. It has built in softener as well, which is great; my clothes feel nice, without that slightly greasy texture some softeners give. I haven't been using it long so can't say anything yet about its colour preserving/brightening properties, but I have high hopes. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, but am not allergic to things like fragrances or powders. I imagine someone with allergies would have some difficulty with this formula, so if you're one such person, I recommend getting a small sample/travel pack first, but if you don't react to it negatively then you and your loved ones are in for a treat! Review: Amazing smell - something different - Love this washing powder - perfect for all the family and have also bought the calming washing powder too.

DO NOT BUY
This product was a total waste of money It’s expensive and it has no smell. Whoever said you didn’t need fabric softener is lying. I have a 10 kg washing machine and used two scoops. My washing didn’t smell of anything. It’s far to expensive and smells of nothing. I feel like I’ve been robbed

Gorgeous smell
Absolutely love the smell of this washing powder. Use it mostly for towels and bedding. Makes it a pleasure to get into bed at night. Really good service and love the fact that it is eco friendly.

There is no better smelling laundry product out there! And I have tried pretty much all of them. This has a gentle masculine scent, but not over powering. It smells fresh and clean. You don't need to use a large amount. The price is creeping up there though - as is everything. I could get 6 bags for $124 and now it is $200. I will have to just buy a single bag now and use it sparingly. Great product though!

This is the first time I’ve ever loved a product enough to write a review. I found this company over a year ago and am asked on a regular basis what it is that smells so good. I have 4 football players and my senior boys were voted “best smelling.” I love not having to use softener anymore and would never consider using another product for my laundry ever again! I have been super impressed with the timeliness of my deliveries as well, given that it comes from England all the way to Georgia. Try the product. You will be glad you did, as will those within sniffing distance.

Imported laundry soap? Yes I do, and yes I will again... lasted me a year... and counting. Girlfriend loves my clothes smell enough to have commandeered my soap! It's quite nice to hear your laundry smells wonderful. Gave me an appreciation for my laundry and others who smell nice.
