This product leaves no residue, nor has a scent. I have clear, smooth skin, naturally. I needed a boost of moisture since it's dry, and I'm getting older. It leaves a nice dewy look when worn alone. I usually layer this with other moisturizers. I apply small amount to face, jowls, and neck. Then apply my other products. I've noticed this brightens my skin, leaving a dewy look. Only used this products for a couple of days, and I see a difference. This is my first time using ANY snail product.

As soon as you put this on you can feel that it works to moisturize your skin. Next to the face I am also trying this on my elbow to see if it can help with dry skin there. Good serum and feels nice while applying, a bit like aloe.

I first saw this product on my daughter's makeup stand. It caught my attention. She said she liked it because it made her skin feel very soft. I decided to try it, and I'm so glad I did. Right out of the bottle, it seemed a little thick, but it wasn't when I applied it to my face. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. There is no smell that I can detect, and it does make my skin feel very soft. I use it daily.

This is by far the best snail mucin I have used. I recommend this as an esthetician. I will be rebuying this when I run out.

I’ve wanted to try snail mucin for the longest time; although, I’ve been hesitant because I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I’ve seen reviews of people having negative reactions to it. However, I finally decided to bite the bullet, when I received the opportunity to try this brand. To start, I eased myself into it, by trying a small amount only a couple of days a week, and from there, I worked myself up to almost daily use. Now, can you jump right in to daily use? Probably. I used an abundance of caution because I didn’t want to overdo it, so it’s really a personal choice. When I use it, I always make sure my face is damp because it helps to boost the efficacy and hydration of the product (per the company and other info I’ve read). Not everyone mentions this when using snail mucin, so I figured I’d make it clear I do that for transparency purposes. I also only use once per day, and I typically do so at night. The serum itself is clear and is initially very sticky, which is on par with other snail mucin products I’ve seen. That being said, when you pat it into the skin, it remains tacky for a minute or two before fully absorbing. So, there is no unpleasant leftover tacky feeling on the face. It also has no discernible scent for those worried it might smell odd. If there wasn’t a label on the bottle, you wouldn’t even know it had snail mucin in it. This particular brand’s formulation has 97% snail mucin, and it even contains rice ferment filtrate that is suppose to brighten and improve skin texture as well. After I use this, there is a noticeable glow to my skin. I feel like it’s helped to tame some of the texture of my skin since I have large pores and mild post-acne texture/discoloration. I’m not saying it’s gotten rid of my texture, as I aim to be realistic with my review, but it does help minimize it. I was worried it would dry my skin out, but it actually feels relatively hydrating on the face. Overall, I’m happy with this snail mucin essence so far, and I would repurchase it again. I will say, this isn’t a miracle product that works overnight rather it requires both consistency and long-term use to reap the optimal benefits. So, just something to keep in mind when deciding if it’s for you.

I'm 39. With some fine lines around my mouth, and neck lines. I also have some hyperpigmentation along my jawline. I've been wanting to try Korean skin care for a while and snail mucin is all the rage. It's not as gross as it sounds. There's no distinctive smell that I can detect. It's slimy, but it goes on nicely, and absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves my skin feeling firm, smooth and soft. It's packed with powerful ingredients that address various skin issues. I've been using it daily for about a month along with the Seoul 1988 retinal serum. This is what I have observed: My face is brighter. Hyperpigmentation along my jawline is lighter. Skin on my face and neck are firmer. My fine lines around my mouth are less noticeable. My necklines are softer. This product does deliver on its promises. I hope with continued use, it will continue to improve my skin. I am unsure as to whether or not it's the snail mucin or the retinal serum, but they seem to be working well together and I thought it would be worth mentioning that it's not the only product I'm using to achieve these results. It is also recommended to use these two products together for best results.
