I threw away so much money on the pet store lasers. They fall apart, they burn up expensive lithium batteries, they're junk. My cat's favorite plaything is a laser light. I bought these (not sure if it was the same company) over 5 yrs ago. I lost at least one, the other two just broke. I'd say that's a good investment. I love the USB recharge! It has a UV light that comes in handy once in a while, the flashlight is always handy and the interchangable laser lights make my old kitty want to play with gusto. These 2 laser lights were in a nice thin silver case (easy to find). Great quality!

It has a variety of lighting options; including a flashlight, a red pointer, and a purple light to verify currency. It functions as a toy for your cat or dog too. It also has a dial to change the red laser pointer to different shapes- including a butterfly, mouse, smiley face, and a red dot. It charges via the USB port, so no more batteries! It seems very durable; I have dropped it several times without any damage. I love that it contains two of them inside a metal case.

This is the most amazing laser I could’ve bought, and I never make reviews. Comes with a cool case and 2 laser pointers, the light is super bright but not horribly so, and all the shapes work and are super cool. Build quality feels nice and the weight is there. Flashlight is alright too.

Love this product. It came fully charged, two lights in a metal box. They are a good size and you don't have to hold down the power button during use. Each light has a bracket that protects the power button from being turned on in the carrier. It has an emergency flash light, a UV light (Which could be brighter) and 5 different laser light images. The dot is larger than the others l've had which works well with my cats and dogs. This laser really gets the cats and dogs moving!! Not having to hold down the button makes a big difference in our play time. For only $10, for 2 and they are rechargeable to boot it a great deal. Turn the end and the charging dock pops out. (Which you do have to twist pretty hard to make it stay out) This would make an excellent stocking stuffer.

Bought mainly for LED red light to play with cat and have been pleased with the quality. There are four shapes -butterfly, smiley face, mouse (I think) and star along with traditional "pointer". Easy to charge with twist USB extension. Only wish is that battery lasted a bit longer but having two makes up for that. Overall a fun whimsical toy for cat.

These are great! Nice bright light that the cats can really see. Because there are two you can be charging one while you use the other. Power button stays on so you don’t always having to be pressing down on it. Does several shapes, not just a dot. My cats love it. Good price too!

My three girls (cats) and I are thrilled with this USB rechargeable laser toy! I love it because it requires no batteries; the first charge lasted almost a month, and with near daily use. The cats love it because, well, not only does it actually work when I click the button, we can cycle through multiple shapes (mouse, star, butterfly, smiley flace), most of which they respond to with even more energy and enthusiasm than they do to the the familiar fifth option, Red Dot. That all translates to more exercise and activity for them, less frustration for me. I ordered the two-pack and shared one as a gift for my cat-nephew, who reporteedly also loves the chase and is benefiting from increased physical activity. Some nice extra features include the white light/flashlight mode, the fabric strap, and the metal clip. According to the listing, purple mode can "detect money," but we haven't had any luck with that yet, lol. The two-pack also came in a hinged metal case that could be used for storing the toys or repurposed.
