First thing let me say this thing is the absolute skating knife I've ever had maybe sharper than my dad's old ass filet knife. And that out of the box! I have the 3 piece Huusk knife set and I need a pairing knife so why not get this one. It's beautiful, sharp, and built like a Hammer!

The Huusk Damascus Nakiri 7inch I received was absolutely what I expected. It was hair shaving sharp and cut fish fillets into nuggets and rib eye beef for cheese steaks superbly. I recommend and hope all who do purchase this knife have the same results.

Extremely sharp. It does have some rough spots in the finish especially around handle pins and joints. It is a good Nakiri but just a little heavy. It is a really beautiful piece and a very esthetically pleasing.

When I first took it out the box I didn't think it was that sharp and was going to return it. Then I tested it on a couple things and it cut with ease. I'm satisfied and may buy another. Hope it lasts or may sharpen it later if necessary.
