I’ve lived in my house for many years and have never used drain unblocker liquids. Plungers have usually done the trick until I had a really slow draining bath plug. Our shower is over the bath and I knew it would be caused by long hair blocking the drain. We use a hair trap but they still find their way down there. This product was amazing. I bought it because it states that it dissolves hair. I used half the bottle in the bath and split the remaining half between two sinks, just to give them a good clean. The results were great, wonderfully free flowing drains. No more standing in a bath of water while having a shower. Second bottle kept as a spare in the cupboard for the future.

Used this to clear our en-suite shower as the water was not draining away at all. Within seconds of pouring it in, the water started to disappear. I used just under half the bottle and let it sit for 15 mins before rinsing away. The instructions stated 500ml and leave for 5 mins or longer depending on how bad it is. Decided to give it another dose just to make sure so used the remainder of the bottle and left it for 20 mins this time before rinsing. The difference since using this is unbelievable. The water drains away instantly, no overflowing waste or shower tray when the showers on. It’s also very easy to use, works instantly on blockages and is very good value for money. Please take care when using as it’s pretty strong stuff.

No strong chemical smell - It has an odour, but it's not overpowering or irritating like some other products. Safe on pipes - Used it on plastic and metal drains with no issues or visible wear. Didn't need to worry about damage. Good value in the duo pack - Two bottles means you're covered for multiple uses or tougher blockages. What I didn't like: Struggles with tougher clogs - It didn't fully clear the kitchen drain on the first try. I had to use a second dose the next day. Needs time to work - Even though it's labelled "fast-acting," you still have to leave it for at least 15 minutes or longer for deeper blockages. Cap design is messy - The bottle cap drips after pouring unless you wipe it down, which is annoying if you store it under the sink. Final thoughts: Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker is a solid, easy-to-use option for everyday clogs in sinks, showers, and drains. It's not magic on major blockages, but for routine maintenance or minor slow drainage, it does the job without harsh fumes or pipe damage. The duo pack is decent value if you want to keep one in the house as backup.

I tried the Mr Muscle Sink and Drain Unblocker two pack recently and was really pleased with how well it worked. One of our sinks was draining really slowly and after using this, the water was running clear and fast again with hardly any effort. It’s really simple to use – just pour it down, leave it to do its thing, and then flush through with hot water. The fact it comes as a two pack is handy as well – good value and useful to keep one spare in the cupboard for when you need it. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re dealing with a blocked or sluggish drain, as it saves the hassle of calling someone out and works quickly.

These worked out great value for money to do all sinks and basin at same time! Has helped with water drainage and easy to use. Need to get more extreme version for kitchen sink on new property and dunno what was put down aink by previous owners !
