Great Upgrade from old Kids Fire 8 – Worth the Price!
I recently replaced my daughter's old Amazon Fire 8 tablet with the URAO Kids Tablet, and it has been a noticeable improvement. This Android tablet offers a much more intuitive interface, making it easier for my daughter to navigate compared to the Fire tablet, which was often tricky for her to use. While it does not offer as many kid options as the Amazon Fire, the user experience is much smoother and more straightforward, which is a big win for both my daughter and us as parents. The tablet comes with a variety of kids’ apps, which are a great starting point. But what really made a difference for us was adding Google Family Link. This allows us to monitor and control her access, giving us peace of mind knowing she’s only using age-appropriate content. The performance is solid overall. It runs popular kids’ apps like Disney+ and Netflix without any issues and even handles more complex games fairly well. While there were a couple of instances where the tablet froze, it wasn’t a big deal—just a simple restart, which is typical when too many apps are open at once. The case that comes with the tablet does a decent job of protecting it, but it could be a bit sturdier. The kickstand, while functional, isn’t the best design for regular use, but it gets the job done. For the price, though, it’s a minor issue. One thing to note is that the RAM is not entirely independent; some of it is used for storage, which is something to keep in mind if you’re expecting the full 64GB to be available for apps and data. Overall, this tablet has been a great upgrade compared to the old Fire tablet, offering excellent value for money. It’s user-friendly, runs all the necessary kids’ apps smoothly, and provides the parental control features we needed. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable kids’ tablet at a good price!

Great for kids
I bought this tablet for my child and it has been an excellent choice. It comes with a sturdy case that protects it well from drops, and the 10-inch size is perfect for watching videos or playing comfortably. I really like the parental control features, so I can supervise what my child watches and how much time they spend on it. The storage is generous and can be expanded, so I don’t have to worry about running out of space. It runs smoothly, the WiFi connection is stable, and the dual camera is a great bonus for family video calls. A very complete and practical gift, highly recommended.

Had it only 4.5 months and it won't charge!
Bought this mid-July 2025. It was barely used for the first couple of months but when it first started getting used, we really liked it. The battery life was great, it had enough storage space. The only things we didn't like was the case's built in stand - it doesn't hold it up very well and collapsed quite a bit. In early October 2025, we noticed some charging issues. It just wasn't charging a lot of the time. I bought new cords, bought new charging stations, all thinking that's what it has to be done or was a brand new tablet. But no. It's the tablet/battery/charging port. The charging port has gotten more and more loose through no one's doing, I think it's just crappily put together. So for a while, we were propping the charging cord to get the perfect angle to activate charging. It worked for a little while. Mid November and the tablet doesn't charge at all. It'll be at 8% when I plug it in and even if I turn it off to charge, it'll say 8% or even less the next morning after charging all night long. It says it's charging but it's not. We've tried everything and nothing is working. We're apparently outside of not just the return window, which I knew was probably 30 days but also outside of PRODUCT SUPPORT window - wth? Less than 6 months and I can't even get product support??? If their support window is less than 6 months (I'm guessing it was also 30 days), that should tell you everything you need to know about the product. They won't stand behind it or even work with you to fix it. I regret this purchase. I'll probably go back to an Amazon kids fire tablet since they actually have great product support.

Extremely durable. Tons of space. Easy to setup for little ones.
My daughter breaks screens of every tablet. I can’t tell you how many kindle fires we have bought. She even broke her iPad screen. All with screen protectors. This tablet has outlived all of those tablets so far. You will want to setup a kids Google account under your main Google account so that way they have to get approval for downloads in the Google play store. This is important because if not they could possibly buy stuff or they can do what my daughter did and setup a YouTube creator channel and record themselves. One thing to note: there is no place to plug in headphones so you will need a Bluetooth setup of your own plan to use any. This is going to be the only tablet we ever use in the future. It’s a great quality tablet and has surpassed all of the really expensive brands.

Great cheaper alternative from an ipad for kids
Its a 10 inch tablet so size is good, the case construction is pretty solid but not heavy at all, and the tablet has decent response. 64gb internal storage is good enough but it comes with an expandable slot so theres that. Its a normal android os tablet, i slapped the wawa app on it and it became kids friendly with awesome parental control. Comes in blue or pink. I would say its easy to use. Only thing i am slightly disappointed in is its battery life. Battery drains quite fast. Especially how my kids use it, on a weekend they might need 2-3 charges before the day is over.
