This is a quality system with brass fittings and excellent filters. I highly recommend this filter system especially after returning a poor quality system from another company that had plastic threads and SEVERE leaks.

First and foremost, it works well for my families’ well water system. It filters the water before going to the softener to increase the life of it.However, the first filter housing leaks slowly from where it screws in. We’ve checked it three times and unsure why it’s doing it. Both rings are seated properly and we didn’t over tighten. Maybe it’s bad but it’s manageable yet frustrating for a new system.

This is a very good whole house water filtration system. The filter package is big. It comes with the filter system, two pressure gauges, and a plastic wrench to tighten and loosen the filter case.The filtration system is very well-made. It is big and has a higher rate of water flow to support the entire house. It designed to be installed at the entrance of your water line. There are two filters in this system. It can filtered down to 5 micron. Two pressure gauges are useful to monitor the flow and when the flow is reduced, it's time to replace the filter. The customize wrench is included to easily remove and reinstall the filter cartridge.I deduced one star because the black rubber caps on the gauges came off, and both pressure gauges in my package were leaked with the clear oil spilled all over. The packaging for these gauges are not very well protected. It was a mess to clean up, but the gauges are working fine, I just have to refill the gauges with Glycerine.

This 2-stage whole house water filter by PUREPLUS is a really high quality set of filter housings. Super thick housing walls and head mechanism. The mounting bracket and screws are no joke either! I am used to using 10" x 2.5" housings in my water projects. This thing is nearly twice the size at 10 x 4.5" and should last quite a while between filter changes. I'm installing a rainwater collection system and this housing will be perfect for the space I have available. The price is very reasonable for a housing of this size and the quality is outstanding! So this is for homeowners that you can install after the water meter the build quality is very nice. It comes with two giant filters and a wall mount bracket with pressure gauges. It doesn’t leak. It improves the water quality and that is its function so I think this is a great buy for those who want softer water and cleaner water throughout their home it is also relatively cheap so it’s a great value for your money. this is also quite easy to install. Find your Watermain line cut out a section a little longer than the filtered itself and add the filter in and then you’re done.
