37' Canes and Walking Sticks in Natural Wood with a Brass Handle - Elegant Walking Cane

I'm 38 and have been suffering from a disability from birth. My walking has gotten so bad recently and in my recent visit to the GP he told you should be using a cane 24/7. So I wasn't going to fight the Dr and submitted, I was no way going to use those hospital crutches, sticks etc I went onto Amazon and found this. I've been using it a few hours now and finding it extremely well made and of dark hardwood, it is very solid and sturdy plus it looks the part, very smart. The round handle is very comfortable and smooth, the engravings give it some grip. I recommend highly I'm 5ft7 61KG for reference.

I am very pleased with the quality and strength of this stick. It was very easy to cut down to the required 89cms (I seem to have got shorter in later years) I have fitted it with the narrowest of rubber ferrules, as I need it for support and I don't want it skidding away from me. I shall be using it for evening functions and the odd posh do, as it is a lot more elegant than my day-time sticks. My only criticism is that had it been more tapered it would have been extremely elegant. ( it has a slight broomstick look about it ) I'll still give it 5 stars though.

It is obvious that some customers have received different products. This destroys the usefulness of reviews.. Mine fits the advertised description. The cane is in one piece, with a metal top that screws on. It ends in a small rubber tip which looks nice, but perhaps would not last very long. The stick was too long for me so I cut off several inches and fitted a rubber ferule. The ferule was 22mm inside measurement, which tells you how thick the stick is. It is a sturdy stick meant for walking, not just for show. It is impossible to believe that it would break in use. It is obvious from the reviews that some customers have received different products, which destroys the usefulness of the reviews. My stick conforms well to the advertised description. It is black, with a sturdy one- piece cane and a metal knob that screws on securely. It ends in a small rubber tip which looks nice but might not last long. It is meant as a stick for walking, not just for show. It is impossible to believe that it would break in use. I find it rather heavy, and the knob not very comfortable. The knob would be better smooth and not so elaborately moulded. Good value though.

I use it because it helps with my arthritic hip, the cane is sturdy and well made, the handle is a little uncomfortable for long periods of use but I like the design of it so it is my choice. It is quite long so I have cut about three inches from it and added a better rubber on the bottom as the original rubber is not very hardwearing. I have seen some reviews on this cane that are complaining about the quality but I can honestly say that I cannot fault the overall quality of mine.

Workmanship isn’t great; there is a ring of plain wood where the top screws on (the chrome handle doesn’t fit flush). Also on removing the handle to attempt to see options to make more flush found fittings are old and weather worn.

Bought this for fancy dress (2021 version of Cruella). Looked great and it attracted compliments. Very sturdy. A good length (I'm 5'6". I'm hanging onto it to use in my old age! :D

Item was not a solid cane it came in four parts. Don't buy this item it's cheap and nasty. The item was sent back.

Does the job at the right price

+ The wood seems sturdy enough + The weight is nice - It arrived with marks on the wood - the cap size right under the knob isn't quiete the right size, revealing some unpainted wood. - wrong cane... The mistaken knob does not bother me as the flower and wavy pattern is as nice as the grape and octagon pattern... The "foot" doesn't bother me to much as It is also ok.... The shafts on the other hand.... I selected this cane over another cane because I preferred a single pice shaft over a three piece because I thought the brass rings along the shaft ruins the estetics to some degree. (with the mistakes I would call into question the genuineness of the source aswell. If I had a cane company I certainly would not accept that sort of negligence in construction. If I sold them I wouldn't either, nor the shipping of an incorrect product.) I did get a cane, but not the one I ordered, the shaft, knob, foot, and length were all wrong compared to picture and description. That's why I'm knocking some stars off. So buyer beware, if ordering a cane you may not get quite what you expected.

Assolutamente perfetto per il mio cosplay. Non so ancora se e quanto il gommino in punta duri, ma per quel che ne devo fare va più che bene. Arriva in una scatola di medie dimensioni, al cui interno troverete un'ulteriore scatola più piccola, contenente il bastone (suddiviso in due parti saldamente avvitabili) incelofanato per bene con il pluriball. È di ottimo materiale, robusto ed è della giusta altezza (io sono alta 1.60 m) Consiglio assolutamente, almeno per quanto riguarda costumi e cose simili.

Kurzfassung: definitiv ein Hingucker bei Events, bei genauerem anschauen sind aber einige Makel und Unsymmetrien zu sehen. (Aber immernoch ein Hingucker, wenn man den aus der Hand gibt!) Der Gehstock besteht aus 3 Teilen: Griff (Metall), Mittelteil (Holz) und Endstück (Holz mit Gummi-Ende), die ineinander geschraubt werden. Griff: angenehm in der Hand und hat ein merkbares, aber angenehmes Gewicht. Die Gravuren darauf sind teils unsymmetrisch und am Sockel vom Griff sind schwarze Stellen am Metall. Sitzt auch nicht ganz symmetrisch auf dem Mittelteil, ein Rand steht etwas ab. Mittelteil: schwarz lackiertes Holz, scheint soweit ganz solide. Am oberen Ende ist der Sockel für den Griff. Am Übergang vom Holz zum Sockel ist etwas unsauber abgeschnitten worden, ist aber nicht besonders schlimm, da es nur am Rand ist. Endstück: soweit auch ganz solide. Das Gummi am ende ist aber mehr oder weniger schnell abgefranzt. Nach 2 mal benutzen (Events gingen über den ganzen Tag, u.a. auch über Asphalt) hört man bei unvorsichtigem absetzen das Metallstück, dass den Gummi festhalten soll. Im Gesamten: Kaufempfehlung für Event-Gags und wenn man etwas gehobener rüberkommen möchte, aber wenn man ein wirklich schönes, ausgereiftes Stück haben möchte, würde ich nicht diesen Gehstock kaufen. Für den Preis aber durchaus in Ordnung!
