Dyson Corrale™ Hair Straightener

Bought this a while back for my wife and she uses it several days out of the week. Works great for travel since it’s battery powered. Battery has held up great. Her hair always looks good so I’m assuming this is a good straightener lol

Best hair Straightener I've ever bought. It is expensive but worth every penny. I love that is cordless. I have thick curly hair and on high heat I can touch my hair immediately after running it through, couldn't do that with old straightener because it burn my fingers. It has significantly cut down the time it takes me to straighten my hair and my hair is way less frizzy when done.

Long time Dyson customer and fan of their products, until now. This product is trash. Runs out of charge after 30 minutes of use even when plugged in. Whose hair can be done in 30 minutes? Nobody. Very expensive and unusable. Makes me rethink every future product choice decision and excluding Dyson

I splurged on this straightener since it was on sale for Prime Day. I couldn't decided between it and the AirStraight, which was also the same price. I opted for this one due to the cordless option and the fact that I have the Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer. The reviews had me concerned for the weight of the straigtener and the battery life. Out of the box, I loved the wrap that it comes in. It will be very handy for travelling, as I can put the the straigtener into the wrap hot and throw it in my bag. The instructions were easy to follow. There is a sticker to show how to take it out of airplane mode (it is shipped in airplane mode), how to unfold the cradle, how to attach the charging cord to the cradle, and put the straightener in the cradle. Voila, straightener is charging. Pretty quickly, I was able to use the straightener. I have thick, wavy hair. I sectioned it into a couple of sections, powered the straightener to 410, and went to work. 7-8 minutes later my hair was soft and straight. I even used it to curl the ends. Full disclosure, I use pretty chunky sections. So I'm doing a fair amount of hair when I pull it through. I didn't have any tugging or yanking from the straightener when I pulled it through, which I get from my other straighteners. I also usually put my straighten at 430 when I use it. So being 20 degrees cooler, I was really happy with the results. When I travel, I'll still probably bring the cord, but not the cradle and just charge it every day. The charge is more than enough for me to do all my hair and I didn't notice a difference in the weight as compared to my previous straightener. Overall, really happy with my purchase!

I love the Dyson corrale to straighten my hair. I have very very thick and long hair that is naturally wavy but the Dyson corrale straightens it with ease. The one downside is the battery life. I have now owned 3 of these straighteners and the first two both lasted two years almost on the dot before the battery conked out and would only last 30-60 seconds before dying. Obviously I love the product enough to continue replacing them but I really wish Dyson would work on improving that as this is quite a pricey product to have to replace so often.

Bought this because my Cloud 9 has started giving me issue after 12 years. They are not sold in the US, so I decided to go with Dyson as I have a blow dryer already. This straightener has a beautiful design, doesn’t dry hair & leaves it silky but does not do a permanent straightening job for my thick hair. Had to return because I need something that will actually silk press my hair & do the job in one or two passes max. Very disappointing it did not work out for me.

I was skeptical because I read all the reviews, both good and bad but really wanted to reduce the damage to my hair from straightening. I compared the Air Straight to the Corrale and due to my hair type (fine) I went with the Corrale. (The Air Straight seemed to be better for thicker hair.) I have other Dyson products and love them all, so decided to give it a try. I have had this straightener for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Yes, it is a bit heavier than a corded flat iron but it's so nice that it is wireless. If you do run low on a charge, it can be used plugged in while charging. I have not had any issues with not having enough time to straighten on a full charge as some people have said in reviews. Usually I can get 2 (possibly 3 if it's just a touch up) styles from one full charge. I really like it so far!
