This cover is magnificent!
I recently installed the TruXedo roll-up cover and couldn’t be happier. The installation was quick and straightforward thanks to the heavy-duty clamps, which felt solid and secure. The cover itself looks great on the truck and adds a sleek finish. I especially like the locking mechanism toward the end of the bed—it gives me peace of mind that everything stays in place. Overall, it’s a durable, functional, and great-looking cover that I’d highly recommend!

Best Soft Tonneau Cover
My new RAM 2500 came with an OEM tri fold cover. They look great, but when you need to use your whole truck bed, you lose a third of the space unless you take the cover off...Not fun. That said, I prefer soft roll up tonneau covers because they are easier to open and close sit a little lower than their tri fold counterparts. That said, this is my second TruXedo soft roll cover in as many trucks. My previous cover was the Lo Pro model so I will briefly compare it to the TruXsport. With the Low Pro you will lose an inch or two of bed width because the rails are canted inward to give it a lower profile look. The Low Pro also has a latch that makes it easily removable. The TruXsport sits flatly on the bed rails and does not create a loss of bed width. The TruXsport is not removable unless you remove the rails, however, both models roll up onto the back truck ledge, so there really isn't a reason I can see to remove either cover. More on the TruXsport. The weather seals on the TruxSport are exceptional. You might get a few drops of water in a heavy rain storm or in the car wash, but overall it will be bone dry. I really like that in addition to the installed cover seals, I like that it comes with optional extra weather stripping and corner seals. Installation is very easy with two rails and three clamps each. I recommend keeping the clamps loose until you get the cover aligned and squared correctly. After that simply torque to specs and you are good to go. The rear of the cover has two latches that engage once it is rolled closed. There are internal tensioning springs in the rails to keep the cover tight. The rails have weatherproof velcro so you can tension and seal the sides. It's a very quick and process to roll open and close the cover. When open there are two straps that secure the rolled cover on the back ledge behind the truck bed. You do not lose any space. Honestly, I like the TruXsport a little better, not because it is less expensive than the Low Pro, but it looks just as good not being low profile, no loss of bed width, and there are two latches that hold the cover closed while creating more tension in the fabric. It looks and works great! Two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

Best cover for the price
If you are looking for a soft, roll-up tonneau cover, this is the one you should purchase. I had this equivalent on my previous truck and loved it. That was a couple years ago, and they have changed up the design a little bit for the better. Install was a breeze and only took about 30 minutes with a single 1/2" wrench (2014 Ram 1500, 6'4" bed). I like this over-the-bedrail version better than the low profile versions because I don't want to lose the 3+ inches on the inside of the bedrail. The new auto-tensioning system means this cover is really tight! We shall see over time how well it adjusts to cold/hot extremes, but looking at the construction of it, I'm not worried. The vinyl is of a good quality and the clamps hold the rails tight to the top of the bed. Because I have over-the-rail caps on the sides of the bedrails, there was an extra bit of weatherstripping required on the bulkhead, but this was supplied in the box, which was nice. There are only 2 things that I could possibly complain about - neither of which is exclusive to this cover; 1) This covers the stake pockets. For me, that is not an issue - I don't have any plans to use the stake pockets. I wish there was a good soft roll up cover out there that was over the rail, but could also leave the stake pockets open, but I have not found it yet. To me, it is well worth it to give up the stake pockets to gain the extra inch+ in height when closed and extra 3+ inches across the bed when rolled up. 2) The shiny vinyl - this is a personal preference, so It isn't really that big of a deal. Back in the day, I had a mopar roll up cover that was vinyl covered with a nice waterproof canvas. this left a nice flat fabric finish that did not distract in sunny weather, and really set the truck apart (at least, I liked it). There really aren't many covers out there that utilize this set up, and definitely not in this price range, so I can live with a shiny cover to save a few hundred bucks.

Really nice cover. Very good quality.
The cover looks great and the install was easy. It's nice and tight. I can see a sliver of light inside the bed where the cover sits on the bulkhead. However I think that's because the front lip of my drop in bed liner that wraps over the bulkhead is slightly thinner than the factory side rail covers. No where near enough difference to warrant the use of the weather seal tape they supply. I doubt any water will get into there. The cover seems like it's well built. The material is thick and it's a good quality build. When you close the cover it latches solidly into place. It's light and only weighs 25lbs. That's important to me because I need to watch my payload because of the tongue weight of my travel trailer. I love the fact that the cover is self tensioning. I watched a YouTube video where a guy had this cover on his truck, that was parked outside, for three years and he never had a problem with it. It was still tight and looked great. That sold it for me. My only complaint is that I ordered it through Prime on a Saturday, it shipped Wednesday, and finally arrived the following Monday. Nine days shipping with Prime? But that's more a complaint with Amazon shipping than the cover itself.

This thing was put on two years ago, and it's still going strong. No sun fade and the tarp appears newish still. It's a bit dirty. I'm not sure if it has a little stretch, but I don't think so. This took a momentous feat to assemble, but it's been easy to use ever since.
