I purchased this mat to protect my wooden floor from water damage. I'm using contrast bath therapy (alternately immersing my foot in warm and cold water) to heal the fascia of my foot. This mat works very well for my needs. I can use a sponge to absorb the water on the mat, while the wooden floor doesn't get any water.

It works great and protects my hardwood floor from the wheels of my office chair. Only wish it was a few inches bigger all around - find it is a little small. Considering getting a second one for better coverage on the floor.
