This lamp is great for work especially in badly lit rooms. I bought my first lamp last year and it worked great for me at my workplace. So, I bought a second one this year for my kid's desk. She also really likes it.

We got this lamp for our PC setup. I have been considering getting those led strips along the top of the monitor like everyone else is getting these days. However, I wanted something that's more adjustable for drawing or crafting on the desk. This is the perfect solution that isn't too expensive! The extra height makes the light easier to move out of the way of my two 32' monitors, and I was able to use it for tech repair. The light is easy to maneuver. When I'm not using it for my desk top, I can turn the lamp towards the ceiling for some softer ambient lighting instead! The light bulb that comes with package seems to compare to a 1100 Lumen LED light bulb I already have, and the light bulb is LED. I would say that the bulb is like a middle tone of warm and cool, but I'm not sure how to objectively measure that. No major issues with shipping or the packaging stuff itself. I will say that the stick that the lamp is stuck to is a thick plastic. The actual bendy arm and everything else is metal. I don't know how that would hold in the long term, but hopefully it'll be easy to replace when it breaks?? Either way, I loved this product so much for my setup, I got another one for my partner's desk too. We need more options for this type of lamp. This is such a good, smart, and versatile design. I'm surprised Amazon isn't full of all types of options.

It’s amazing the extension rod makes it so much more useful. I’m very happy with my purchase. ( this review from my first purchase) 2nd purchase - I liked it so much I bought another one for my sewing table. I was a bit disappointed when it came. It wasn’t like my first one. The extension rod was different. I couldn’t get It to fit so I sent it back and ordered another one so it came today and it was exactly like the one I sent back so I tried to put it together and I finally got the extension to fit into the lamp. They added a screw to the rod I’m guessing so it stays in one place not allowing for moving it accidentally moving the lamp. Instructions aren’t very good however overall having the extension is wonderful. Need to update their picture and explain being able to lock it in place.
