Fabric Stain Remover, Platinum Oxi Action Powder Crystal Whites, 1.41 kg

I have been using Vanish Platinum since it came out and for whitener/stain remover it is brilliant for both removing stains and whitening, do not recommend it for coloured items, although occasionally you can find it in the pink box especially for coloureds. It is getting harder to find Platinum these days and Vanish have put Vanish with Whitening Booster on the market what looks like instead? which I have not tried because I like this. Some clarification and comparison would help. Meantime I will carry on using this for as long as I can get it.

I'm always a pretty big sceptic when it comes to these sort of products, especially when they make big claims about their capabilities. I have used vanish gold for whites and for colours for a few years now, and have had excellent results. However, my 6 year olds school shirts somehow started going grey, and a few of my youngest all in one sleepsuits had grey feet that weren't budging. I saw this advertised on TV claiming to brighten whites and decided to buy a small tub, just to try but not expecting a great deal. Well, I had to eat my words! It is excellent, took my sons greying school t shirts back to looking brand new again! Excellent service and fast delivery as always from Amazon, and an excellent product!

Great product. It's expensive, but worth it to rescue dingy bedding and other whites. It's the only product I know that gets whites white again without damaging colours or delicate materials. All I need now is something to remove the stains from my husbands mind.

Removed extensive new red wine and port stains plus some old ones. This product works miracles.

I am never without this stuff in my house!...I use it to soak whites, in the washing machine and even to get the white insides of cups back white again!...however when my children found this mouldy little bear in the garden and wanted to keep it I saw the opportunity to test the powers of this stuff to the limit!...I soaked the little bear for 4 days, turning it morning and night...then I squeezed it out and washed it on a normal wash and was amazed by the results!!!!...it’s hard to believe but I promise you both those pics are the same bear!...I buy the one for whites and the one for coloured washing.

This DOES produce better results than the Vanish Gold version and it's still the best whitener I've found after years of trying various options from around the globe. In fact, it's the only whitener I've used that eradicates the unsightly yellow sweat stains on the armpits of cotton shirts that inevitably appear over time when using various deodorants. Some materials will never regain their original whiteness no matter what type of chemical bleaching is used but, for clothing, bedding and towels, this stuff is unbeatable.
