Interesting gel shave. Provides a slick, close shave. Very slight, but pleasant fragrance. Creates a thin but protective lather. Will be disappointing if you're looking for a great scent or full lather. Its not a typical shave cream type product, and I have others I like more.HOWEVER... by chance I discovered that if you coat your face with this and then use a cream or soap like Proraso or TOBS, (especially with a brush) you will get a lovely volume of rich, thick slippery lather. It just blows up. This is a nice synergistic effect known to traditional shavers as "über lather," usually created by mixing the right cream with a soap.This gel is a terrific über lather catalyst. Try it with your favorite soap or cream.
