This product is absolutely great. You have to be careful to follow the instructions to the letter cleaning letting the surface dry then wiping a single time. The look is perfect just like a new piece of plastic. It’s quite amazing the results you get, but I cannot stress how carefully you have to follow the instructions. Also do not allow the plastic to get wet for at least 24 hours after application.

Not just a waste of money, but more importantly a complete waste of time. Streaks badly even after going into overkill mode on surface preparation. To make matters worse, there was significant and very noticeable fading after “one” hand carwash a week after application. Not only did I follow the instructions to the letter, but I went above and beyond by washing the surfaces with Dawn dishwashing soap, and allowing it to dry for 3 days (vehicle is garage kept and I’m just recently retired, so I was able to really take my time). I then pulled it out of the garage on a very sunny South Florida day and let the surfaces dry further in the hot sun. Once I brought it back into the garage, I turned on the A/C and allowed it to cool off overnight. The following morning was application day. I had bought 2 boxes of Wipe New to ensure I had plenty of prep and product wipes. I used 5 prep wipes and allowed the surfaces to dry for 4 hours! After all that prep work (yes I’m an overkill expert), I applied the product carefully, following the instructions, and making sure I did not overlap as the instructions say. I immediately noticed streaking but was hopeful it would even out when it dried… WRONG. It has now been over a week and it looks awful. I have experience detailing cars and bought this product for my Jeep Wrangler hoping it would last once applied and I could avoid applying Back to Black dressing after each car wash (wrong again). In summary, this is probably the worst car care product I have ever used. Absolutely a case of false advertising by the manufacturers. Again, do not waste your money buying Rustoleum’s Wipe New, but more importantly, do not waste your time!

I got this to help rejuvenate some of the vinyl shutters on the front of my house that have been damaged by the sun over time, and it works for that within reason. It took the sun damage chalk off, but I went through the entire package of these for four 12 inch shutters, and now just about a year later they are already chalking up again in the sun and on the north side of the house. I don't think this these are a long-term solution from my shutters or for any vehicle that may sit outside most or all of its life. It's also nasty, nasty stuff. Full ventilation is required, in other words apply It outdoors. Don't even attempt to apply it indoors on anything. And absolutely be sure you wear at least two pair of disposable gloves as it could easily eat through or melt the first pair.
