Excellent tool for beginners like me. I purchased a set of 2-lb clubs earlier, and these have proven much easier help master beginning moves. Great for warming up your shoulders, elbows, and wrists before playing tennis, and small and light enough to fit in my tennis bag. Great purchase!

Great for workouts! Good quality, they feel safe and secure. I’ve had cheap weights break apart on me in the past but I can tell these are ones that will last and won’t break apart! Very fun workout!

Like most others, I assume, I bought this set with the hopes of improving my shoulder mobility. The set arrived yesterday and here are my preliminary thoughts: - The 1lb set are fantastic. Well-balanced, good finish. I can see this pair getting a lot of use. - The 2lb and 3lb set have very pronounced seams on the handles. I can see this being potentially irritating to the hands during transitional movements. Hopefully, they'll smooth out over use or I may have to use some ultra fine grit emery cloth to clean them up. Not the end of the world but I thought I was ordering a finished product and not a project. - Unfortunately, my weren't quite as accurate in weight as another purchasers. 1# clubs are 508g and 511g 2# clubs are 1009g and 1015g 3# clubs are 1375g and 1410g Overall, looks like an ok set for the money. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've just bought the 1lb set and waited to buy a more premium pair of 2lb clubs. Also, I'm not impressed with Amazon's return policy for this type of stuff. Only accepting returns of unopened items. The clubs were boxed and individually bagged, how could a consumer possibly inspect the construction quality without actually opening the packaging and having a look. This will prevent me from future Amazon purchases.

I honestly wasn't expecting much for the price, though I have bought several other Logest maces, as well as competitor products and have always been pleased. Obviously, this comes with a qualifier on price and this isn't a high cost set, so factor that in as well. However, it's a perfect set for learning Indian Club and probably even more so if you'd like to expand into other maces and/or clubs. I was looking at these in the context of trading them out later for wooden ones, but my impression now is that there would be no reason to do so for functional purposes. Both of each set of clubs came in at acceptable weights: 1# club is 483g vs 454g in a pound. Both clubs the same. 2# club is 945g vs 907g in 2 pounds. Both clubs the same. 3# club is 1398g vs 1360g in 3 pounds. There was a 2g differential between the 2 clubs. The above is pretty amazing, given that these are composite materials. All are just barely heavier than the stated weight, but more amazing is that both of each size are the same, essentially down to the gram. The material is a very solid plastic material that shouldn't degrade over time. With the exception of the handle, the club is a slight tactile feel to it to avoid slippage, and each is comfortable to hold in my medium size male hand. The smaller club is easy for my wife to hold with her very small female hand. This means you could easily hold onto it with cold or wet/sweaty hands with no issues. Essentially, it feels and kind of looks like a very slightly textured iron mace that has been powder coated. The handle portion is much smaller and has less grip to it, feeling smooth but not slippery. It has about the same feel to it that a piece of varnished wood would have. This is idea because you have to manipulate the club and your main point of anti-slip is going to be the perfect size knob at the end. Overall, I have no issues with these for performance, consistency or maintenance, particularly at this price point. It's a great value for the money and will keep me watching Logest products. Only for the purposes of affirming that no product is absolutely perfect, I would say there are two things that someone could find less than desirable: 1] The flat ends really don't work well for standing these things up on a hard surface and they will fall. The 1# won't stand up at all, the 2# will stand up until someone walks by or a squirrel in a tree outside sneezes, and the 3# will stand up but you wouldn't want to depend on that with a sleeping baby in the room. Not unexpected or really even annoying to me, but just full disclosure. 2] Slightly more annoying to me is that the weight of each is very lightly stamped into the side of each club, but unreadable short of standing under a very bright light. Now this isn't a problem for the 1#, as they are very distinguishable skinny little things that aren't much different in the club end than they are in the handle. However, it takes a very fine eye to see the difference between the 2# and the 3#, especially if they aren't standing next to each other or don't have your readers on. What would be cool in the next iteration of the mold is if they made a really big 2 or 3 or somehow otherwise distinguished the two sizes in a more visible way. Just my two cents and not worth more than a 1/10 of a point in a review in my humble opinion.
