This is a product I've been using for a while. I liked it so much that I bought two more.

Works as described

I use these trimmers to give myself fades. Pictured is a bald to #1 self fade. I zero gapped them to allow a smoother transition from trimmer to shaver. It required me to unscrew 2 parts and then just gently nudge the blade around until I was happy. No non-basic screwdrivers required. At first I went too close and the clippers nipped me so I backed off. I estimate there's about 0.1-0.2mm gap now. I still have to be reasonably careful with the neck area under my chin but nothing else gets even close to bitten at this gap level. The trimmers are great for fades and I also trim my beard with them using the 3mm guard included. Totally satisfied, would buy again unless I can afford Babyliss Skeletons one day, lol.

These clippers don’t last. I have had 3 pairs. Battery doesn’t last long replacing battery requires labor $30 and on off switch goes out another costly repair. Don’t buy
