I must admit, I was absolutely shooketh when this product arrived. This bag is GIGANTIC!!! I actually had intended to send it as a gift to my cousin but... it's so large (and heavy) that I did not end up doing that. This quite reminds me of those jelly masks (in wet form) - I used to get them from my esthetician, and then later ordered knock-offs off of Amazon which... were definitely not the same, haha. Anywho, if you've used those (they come in a clear plastic square-type jar), that's kind of what you're getting here, in terms of the process of mixing and application, and texture while still wet. I'd say that this version is an improvement - not surprisingly, the Korean product is far superior to the Chinese one. I like this mask as it is less messy than the Chinese counterpart - it drips, but not as much. Thicker so stays on a little better. It does dry as more of a "clay", versus the other drying as a jelly. It's easier to remove. If you've ever used the Amazonian clay mask, that's a similar consistency to the dried texture of this one. I do like this mask, I do think it's hydrating, but the bag taking up a lot of space and also being a bit messy... I don't think I'd probably re-purchase it. It's kind of a fun novelty item, though! And I do think it has actual benefits, beyond just being a fun thing to do.

I received a bag of powder to mix and apply as a DIY face mask. I'm familiar with this kind of product, having used a similar one from another brand before. This mask is easy to prepare, and its excellent absorption allows you to control the thickness of the application. I left it on for 30 minutes until fully dry, then gently removed it by rubbing it off with my hands. Afterward, my skin felt smooth and soft, with noticeably smaller pores and an overall improved appearance. The fact that it’s made in Korea adds extra confidence in its quality. However, please notice that my order did not include the "Linsay DIY Tool Kit" (Measuring Spoon, Mixing Bowl and Spatula), deducted a star based on that fact.

This is a huge bag of peel-off mask powder. For reference, when the pouch is laid flat, it's larger than a letter-size sheet of paper. I totally missed just how large a bag this was when I ordered! The calendula is soothing and softening. While no extras like a scoop or spatula are included, it's easy enough to mix a proper ratio (it's just 1:1) so use whatever spoon you like. Make sure edges are laid on thicker to make it easier to peel off, and toss as much as possible in the trash afterwards. Enough powder here for a slumber party - at least a couple of dozen applications.

First of all I wasn't expecting such a HUGE size bag. No complaints here .. just surprised. It's a great value! Mix equal parts water, or to your desired consistency. You have to move fast to apply because the mixture begins to coagulate rapidly. It was fairly easy to apply, but It can get messy. So, I did it over the sink in my bathroom with the bowl under my face to catch spillage. You should apply it pretty thick so the ends are easier to grip and pull off when it's time. It could take upwards of 30 minutes for it to dry completely. Maybe even more. It has a cooling sensation as it sits and when it dry and ready to peel, it comes off like jelly. It left my skin feeling tight, hydrated and soft. I really like this mask and it smells really good also! Super gentle and doesn't pull any hairs when you peel it.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love the Lindsay Calendula Mask. First off, I want everyone to understand what a deal this is. For the current price of $29.90 you get this enormous amount of over two pounds and the single use mask is sold for $25. That is quite a bit for a single use but I believe it is worth it from the way it makes my skin feel. If you like powder masks, going the big bag route is beyond worth the value. Now I will say that since maybe as a Vine member, I did not receive the spatula and bowl set, so I had the worst time in the beginning trying to get the amounts right. Knowing the ratio did not tell me what amount to use and I didn't see it on the website until I had already used it once and wasted at least four uses. I was going off of my bad memory from a powder mask I used before and I should have just googled. The second time I used it, I did better. It is beyond easy to peel off. Once you start, it almost starts peeling off on its own. And no matter what, there is always a little bit left that you have to use water to get it off. I truly do love this mask. I can feel it working while it is on. My skin is beyond soft after and it feels so clean and the best it has felt in forever. It is beyond soothing, leaving a moisturized and hydrated feeling. The day before the last time I used it, I had broken out in a horrible rash from my rosacea and using something I shouldn't and after, all of the bumps were gone and my skin felt like a baby's butt. This mask is worlds away from the other brand I used and I can see why it is so popular in K-beauty circles. I definitely recommend it for everyone but especially anyone with sensitive skin.
