Using this to power the Dollatek/BRZhifi sub amp.

I bought this as the original had failed, the local chair shop said the original was no longer available. It was an easy job to rewire the motor & saved scrapping the chair

Great power supply. Powers 100 watt subwoofer amplifier. Works fine!

The power supply delivers 24.5v under no load. The power cable is fitted with a 13amp fuse which is larger than necessary as it states on the supply that it draws 1.6amps (this seems reasonable based on the output of 24v x 6a and assuming a 90% efficiency). The earth pin of the 3 pin plug is metal for it's full length, which corrects an issue that a previous reviewer identified. It is possible to 'wiggle' the power cable a little where it fits into the power supply, but there was no loss of connection. A few wraps of black insulation tape around the plug reduced the 'wobble' to my satisfaction. Overall I'm happy with this power supply.

Using this for a 24V led strip in my kitchen, it plugs straight into the controller with standard sized power plug. The leads into and out of this are about 1metre each giving some flexibility in placement versus plug location and the light strip. So far working well albeit early days so cannot speak to longevity. Picked this unit as needed a reasonable output of at least 3A for the light strip so opted to go for 6A to power up to 10metres as didn’t want to be under powered.

The MAINS Plus Does NOT Conform to UK Safety Standards. The IEC Cable Attached to this Product contains a Plug that has a "Partially Insulated Earth Pin". This is ILLEGAL for use in the UK. The Earth Pin should Always be a SOLID PIN where an appliance has an Earth Connection. Because the Cable can become separated from the power supply and used with other equipment, that may require an earth bond, it is likely that this cable can prevent safety devices in your home from tripping, and cause electrical damage, fire, or electric shock. Also, I had to use these as part of a lighting installation, so I had to remove the plugs anyway. Upon inspection, the fuses supplied are 13A, which are massively overrated for the 0.75mm cable, and low current draw of the PSU. Fuses for this product should be 3A. Even if the IEC cable is used on another device, the fuse should be no more than 3A for the size of the internal 3-core cable. Investigation required.. Not to UK or CE standards. Product Recall Recommended.

Great product good quality will buy again

I'm using it for a 24V custom led lighting system and it's working fine. Knocking two stars off because the supplied power lead is a very poor fit to the transformer. Slightest touch and the pwer cuts out. Luckily I can put it in one fixed position in the corner and forget about it.
