Girrrrrrl... When I tell you that I have been on a JOURNEY to finding a shampoo that my hair and scalp like, I am not kidding. The money I have wasted on shampoo after shampoo only to be disappointed time and time again. UNTIL NOW. I can't say that it stopped my hair fall completely or even at all yet, I still notice shedding. But I do have underlying conditions and am on medication that can be factoring in to that. So many shampoos feel good the first 1 or 2 times I wash, seemingly less hair fall, but then start building up product on my hair that make it feel oily or waxy, so then I need to use a clarifying shampoo to get the product out and my hair feeling normal, meaning I'm having to buy another product just to take care of the first product and it's a never ending cycle and well, call me lazy, but it's a b*tch, girl. Ain't nobody got time or money for all that. I have been using this product for a couple months and I have never once felt like my hair was oily, waxy or building up product. My hair feels soft after washing and for the next 2 days. I'm very sensitive to smells and this one doesn't have a strong scent. It just smells clean. i also had an itchy patch on my scalp behind one of my ears and I noticed recently that it's gone away since using this product. Do be aware that it's not detangling, so if you usually get tangles after washing, make sure to have something for that.. I use my Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner after I wash my hair and it works great. Don't let the small size and high price tag scare you, cause it's worth it. I was at my wits end trying to find something that worked for me, ready to give up. I'm so glad I have this a try. I hope it works for you too!

Great product. Used years ago and forgot how nice it was. You have to use for a while to see results, but hair and head feel great after using. My hair dresser told me years ago about Nioxin for hair restoration.

As I continue in my quest of finding a product that will stop my hair loss, I had read an article about the new Nioxin Ultimate Power Hair Fall Defense shampoo. I decided to try it because they are a trusted brand and the reviews on here seemed hopeful and what do I have to lose besides more of my hair and my money. I actually had been encouraged by the mention of the fragrance in the AI overview. I thought great, I like fragrance and maybe Nioxin finally has that figured out. The price is a bit steep in my opinion so at least the shampoo could leave me with some clean wonderful smelling hair. I was deceived. Nioxin why does your shampoo still smell like your coworker who just took their smoke break and thought some mint chewing gum would cover it up but they just reek of stale cigarettes and mint?? I get the mint as it “stimulates” the scalp but can’t there be an improvement on the fragrance? To be noted, the shampoo lathers up beautifully and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. I have to use extra conditioner on my ends but that’s not a deal breaker especially if it truly can lessen the excessive shedding. I also bought the Nioxin Ultimate Power Hair Fall Defense Serum to use along with it as recommended. I have only been using it for a few days and have not seen an improvement thus far but will update in a couple of weeks.

Llevo un mes de uso y aunque en mi caso los resultados no se notaron sino hasta la semana 2, siento que ha mejorado la química de mi cabello, lo siento más suave, más firme, se cae con menor frecuencia, a la par que lo he utilizado con minoxidil + dutasteride (Fórmula magistral), he ido paulatinamente recuperado ciertas áreas de cabello que ya tenía perdidas, siento que esta es la opción de aquellas personas que están buscando una solución efectiva en el mercado, ire incorporando los demas productos de la misma línea, dado que en su momento utilice el Nioxin Kits de sistema 2 y solo tuvo un leve efecto el acondicionador, cada cuerpo y cabello es diferente, pero en mi caso este champú es el unico que me ha servido de muchos que he llegado a probar.

Great packing and fast shipment. I have a lot of hair but it’s thin and falls out all over so I’m trying this hair fall defense. I was turned onto Nixon 25 years ago after the birth of my first son my hair was falling out in clumps due to hormone changes. Nixon helped strengthen and produced more rapid hair growth. Because I have so much hair I stopped using it, but I noticed now that I’m in menopause my hair is falling out again so trying this again, also my husband’s hair is thinning so I bought him #2 Nixon to see if it’ll help him. I’ll update this here with results of both. Worth the price far less expensive than other brands and I trust the quality due to past experience. I love the minty feel and smell and my hair (which is also oily) feels so clean after.
