This is perfect! Makes the perfect cup of Greek/turkish coffee and also boils water super fast for tea or instant coffee! Handle folds for storage and easy to use! Perfect for travel or college students

I watched a video for an electric sand coffee maker. Interesting but 20 mins to heat the sand and then another 10 to make the coffee. This electric coffee maker took 40 seconds to make a cup of very good Turkish coffee. Yes, it didn't have the nice looking foam top. However the coffee was great and done in record time. What you need to know before you buy and use, is that: 1. There is no on/off switch Once it's plugged in and on the base, it's on 2. This cooks VERY quick. You NEED to stand there and watch it. 3. The Stainless Steel pot makes it very easy to clean. 4. The short handle makes it a bit difficult to poor. 5. The folding handle is a connivence for storing. However I don't know how this will hold up over time. At this price point it is a very small concern. Overall, this is a good deal for a very quick, and good cup of Turkish coffee. I'll be ordering another one for our shore home.
