I bought this hair clip in Ulta on a whim one day, and since then it's the only hair clip I've used.It's solid, holds hair really well (and I have super fine, straight hair), it's got a decent weight to it, and it's very durable. Over the last four or so years I've only had to replace it twice.$8 might seem like a lot for a single hair clip, but I promise it's well worth the money.I misplaced the last one I bought so I decided to get another one from Amazon. There is definitely a color difference (see photo), the one I got from Amazon is more of a rose gold, which I actually like better than the regular gold one I got in-store.Anyway, I'll never stop buying these hair clips until I die.

This is a very sturdy clip. It's all metal, and holds hair in place.One note of CAUTION: Definitely DO NOT wear this clip while traveling in any vehicle with headrests. Any quick stops, movements or accidents that force your head into the headrest will not be pretty.

There are multiple listings for these, which makes it near impossible to figure out what’s what. The measurements are hard to locate and pictures that make the clip look bigger in one listing but still has the same measurements as other listings. It’s all rather confusing and annoying.For this one, the first measurement listed reads that one of the measurements is 6 1/2 inches. I think that’s actually the cardboard the clip is attached to! These clips are about 3 inches, end to end across the longest part. From the center of the “arc” to the bottom is about an inch.These should work quite well—if you don’t have a lot of hair.If your goal is (like mine) to clip up thick, heavy hair, it’s just not large enough.I didn’t remove them from the packaging, so I can only say what I saw and could feel through the plastic. These are very sturdy, solid and well constructed. They’re not going to break easily and even with regular use I’d expect them to last several years.

Love this gold hair clip! It holds my hair very well and is durable. The gold color is elegant and I feel it is good for every use as well as great for going out to a nicer event/restaurant.

i had a gift card from a return and after adding stuff to my cart i noticed i was going to have just 8 dollars left in it, so i went to my wish list to see if there is anything there that would work as a filler item. This claw has been in my list for a long time and it was the perfect time to get it. It really is really good, it looks way better than the plastic ones, its strong so you feel your hair is really secure and even though it's heavier than i though in my hand, it doesn't feel that way in my head, it just feels sturdy.

They look good but don't hold my hair very well. The teeth are smooth metal with no silicone or other grippy lining.

Why write a review for a hair clip!?Because, this is the best dang jaw clip I’ve ever used. I have a lot of shoulder length fine hair. Pulling it back in a plastic clip has always been a temporary solution requiring multiple re-clippings throughout the day. This metal hair clip has substantial weight and feels very durable. I accidentally wore it through two hours of dance class last week, not realizing that my hair wasn’t secured by an elastic, and it didn’t budge at all. That’s some serious hold!
