Fun fidget, it moves easily. My issue with it is a personal one but others might want to know. It’s loud, the internal gears click like a ratchet when the tread part is moved. I can’t stand the noise but it’s a good product that’s well made.

Quality product, but as others have stated, it may be underwhelming straight out of the box. The tread squeaked and did not move freely. Thanks to advice these reviews I resisted the urge to immediately return and broke the unit down and applied a little WD 40 and sanded the edges of the tread carefully with some 400 grit sandpaper, taking care to even out the 'nubs' that hold the clips between the individual tread pieces. Only took a few minutes and once I put it back together it works very well, and moves freely.

Instead, it is very notchy and not smooth - almost hangs at times requiring extra effort to get the 'band' to rotate. Too bad, because I like it in all other aspects. The notchiness, like a chain starting to jump a tooth, is unacceptable.

I was looking for a fidget spinner, this look interesting and I liked the different textures, but it is very noisy making it obvious I am stressing to everyone else in the room so I returned. Plus as other reviewers stated it is heavy but not in a positive way, the weight seems to make it difficult to spin.

Cool for the first few minutes of playing with this then one of the screws fell out. I read the little note card that's included saying you can adjust the screw inside so I took it apart and tightened the screw per instructions. Its not the easiest to tear down with it falling apart so after about 15 minutes I finally figured out where the tiny ball bearing went and reassembled but there's a tiny gap that will not close and the track is much stiffer not allowing the toy to spin as freely. Two stars I'd had gone to give more.

Husband bought for his brother for Christmas, started playing with it and kept for himself! 😄 need to buy a new one now.

It’s cool looking. That’s the only positive I can say. It’s very difficult to get the threads to move and it squeaks. It gives me anxiety more than relieves it. Returning

This was the first fidget toy of this type that I tried. It worked best for me by holding it between a thumb and forefinger and then rotating it between the two. I liked the ratchet sound it produces and it definitely is not for use if you want to keep things quiet. The construction is solid and it has some weight. It has the height and width of an average fidget slider but it is twice the thickness. This might not be the first choice for carrying in my pocket but here on my desk, seems the perfect place for it.
