Better than other cosmetic countries.
Good product, color stay longer if mild herbal shampoo/soap is used. Someone commented that one packet out of four is not giving enough color.

Loved it! Recommended for curly hair!
I try to use only cruelty-free brands as much as possible. Luckily I found Indus Valley which is not only cruelty-free but also free from harmful heavy chemicals. I wanted to colour my hair since I started to get too much grey hair. I did an organic color in the salon but didn’t want to spend a lot. I have used LOreal, Garnier and B Blunt in the past. But nothing has worked as much as Indus Valley’s hair colour. I did a patch test. It did not irritate my skin. I am very happy that almost all my greys were covered in a one-time hair colour application! I used the heat method for darker shade. I guess if I didn’t have then the hair color would have been nearby brown instead of black. Let’s see how it turns out after two washes though. The shampoo and hair spa conditioner provided in this kit is too good unlike that provided by these other brands. Thankfully my hair has not turned rough. Yes, you will need to use a coloured hair-friendly shampoo and conditioner after colouring the hair to maintain the colour. Also, not oil hair too often. In all quite happy with it. I will definitely repurchase! :D

Misleading Marketing – Contains Harmful Chemicals Despite "Herbal" Claims
I purchased Indus Valley Dark Brown Gel Hair Colour trusting the brand’s claim of being natural and herbal. While the packaging emphasizes the use of organic and Ayurvedic ingredients like Amla, Henna, Basil Leaf Powder, and Coconut Oil, a closer look at the full ingredient list reveals a very different story. Ingredients That Raise Concerns: Sodium Perborate: Used as an oxidizing agent; it is classified as toxic for reproduction in the EU and is banned in some countries in cosmetics. Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate: A hair dye chemical known for its potential to cause allergic reactions and skin sensitization. It is restricted or banned in many countries including Canada and the EU. Picramic Acid: This is a nitro compound that is prohibited in cosmetics in the European Union due to its toxicological profile. m-Aminophenol & 4-Amino-2-Hydroxytoluene: Synthetic dye intermediates known to cause skin and eye irritation, also restricted in several global regulatory frameworks. 4-Chlororesorcinol & 2-Amino-6-Chloro-4-Nitrophenol: Hazardous hair dye ingredients with risks of allergies and toxic buildup. These are heavily scrutinized or outright banned in safer cosmetics markets. 1-Naphthol & Naphthalenediol: Derivatives of naphthalene, potentially toxic and associated with carcinogenic risk with repeated exposure. The Deceptive "Herbal" Mask: Yes, it contains natural ingredients like Henna, Amla, Coconut Oil, and Basil, but those are dwarfed by a long list of synthetic and potentially hazardous chemicals. This product may work for coloring hair, but at the cost of misleading advertising and possible long-term health risks. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a truly natural, chemical-free hair dye, this is not the product. It masks itself as Ayurvedic and safe but includes several ingredients banned or restricted in other countries. Sensitive individuals, pregnant women, or those prone to allergies should especially be cautious. I do not recommend it for anyone seeking genuinely herbal or toxin-free hair color.

The product doesn't serve the purpose.
I was actually cool and happy with the product, since I used this product consistently the texture of the hair drastically felt good and covered by grey hair thinking that I finally found a herbal hair colour however, things took a u turn after applying the colour wouldn't show up at all. Now that I feel its really waste to buy them as it doesn't serve the purpose.

Give us new product..
If the colour powder is in block in side the pocket the result is poor..and it is in pale white the result is good effect. I think that they have sold old stock only...so poor...
