Specific audience
This is a great book and I have found a great admiration for Tony Robbins. It's pretty clear from reading his book and watching his interview that he really cares about helping other people through knowledge and money. The notion of investing in Mutual Funds was completely obliterated, this I definitely support. Just index guys, through DCA in my opinion. Another thing I like about this book is when he asked about what amount of money will satisfy you? One guy said a billion dollars and instead of just ignoring his, Tony went ahead and showed him how it doesn't take much money (critical mass) to maintain your dream level of lifestyle. Many concepts in this book are American so Indian readers should search for Indian equivalents of those concepts and the Ray Dalio portfolio diversification, well someone should backtest that on the Indian market. Either way, you can just index with NIFTY or SENSEX with Dollar-Cost averaging. If you know how to invest and how to not get emotional during mass pessimism, then this diversification is not for you and you are massively limiting yourself. Cautionary note, you should really be able to invest yourself though, not trading but INVESTING. The best part of the book in my opinion were the final chapters, the act of giving. So whoever says money can't provide happiness is dead wrong. It enables you to help those in need and that will definitely make you happy, more than any amount of money will ever be able to do. On a final note, this is a definite read and Indian folks, look for Indian equivalents of these American plans and be sure to apply these principles in your personal life, "Knowledge is not power, it's potential power. Application of knowledge correctly in your life is power".

Must read!
One of the best investment books I bought. Gave me a lot of clues as to what I might be doing wrong. Mostly about the US tax and savings structure. But it is easy to find the indian counterparts. It was eye opening to see how the successful investors invest. Always willing to learn more, so this book was just great learning. Found a new way to look at money!

Not only how to save or deposit your money, ...
Read Rich Dad Poor Dad instead. I am a huge fan of Tony for years and still am, there is not a single video I haven't missed on Youtube about Tony. The way he influences people is amazing. I would congratulate the effort he has taken to make this book possible. And i finally bought one. But after reading some chapters I got ideas but not real life steps which should take me to riches. This is the case of most of the books on self help. But the book Rich Dad Poor Dad finally made sense to me. Read 10 pages from Money master the game book and 2 pages from rich dad poor dad book you will see the difference.

Safe way to retire rich under any market condition
Tony Robbins had a great influence in my life. It all started with gratitude. This book is full of mindset, the preparations, the tactics and execution. Of course, and automating your wealth without losing money under any market. It's a very long book, it took me 2 months to finish, but it has so much to cover and tools given in this book. The only downside is, the links and some of the resources given in this book are NOT WORKING. But you can apply these strategies and tactics for yourself for your financial freedom.

This is the second book I read from Tony Robbins, after 'Awaken the Giant Within', that I absolutely loved. As the author states: this book is not just a book, it is a blueprint. No matter where you are financially, it will help you change your life - if you take the advice to your heart and take action. Quote: If what you learn leads to knowledge, you become a fool; but if what you learn leads to action, you can become wealthy. There are many books out there that cover the topic of how to get wealthy. I think what sets this book apart, is Tony Robbins incredible passion to help people combined with his knowledge of the topic. He is described as one of the greatest or THE greatest motivational speaker. His personal power and empathy can be felt thorough the book. A very inspirational and recommendable book.

The information you need is in the book but Tony added a lot of fluff... 100 pages on how investment bankers rip you off with mutual funds and hidden fees on top of hidden fees and lie to your face that their fees are "only" 1%... Get a good brokerage firm like Interactive Brokers with low fees (not an investment bank!) and buy index ETFs just as Ray Dalio recommends in the book according to his "all weather portfolio" or just google it!

SERIOUS QUESTION: If you had two investments, one that's $50 000 and one that's $1 000 000, which one would you put more energy into? Simple logic says you don't even consider the $50k, and pour all your time into the million. But, after a short poll of friends and colleagues, I learned that we do the exact opposite. Here's an example: About a year ago I bought a new car. I spent months pouring over consumer reviews, test driving, talking with friends, and investigating resale value. Conversely, when I committed to saving for my retirement I did a little "Google" research, then went to my bank, met an adviser, and trusted him to help me pick my investments. I've diligently made contributions from my paycheck ever since. The truth is, I spent about 1/10th of the time investigating my retirement as I did investigating a $50k vehicle I'll drive for 5 years tops... HOW STUPID IS THAT? Apparently not that stupid, it's what most people do. Tony Robbins new book, "Money - Master the Game" is an absolute gem! Even as a Canadian, despite the heavy US focus, this book opened my eyes to an industry designed to TAKE not CREATE wealth. This book certainly isn't the end all of investment strategies - BUT - if you want to retire on-time (or early), if you don't want to worry about running out of money before you die, if you want to maintain your current standard of living when you retire, then this book is for you! If you don't know any of the following, you really need to read this book (you'll be glad you did): 1. 96% of mutual funds DO NOT beat the stock market (and you pay fees on top of that) 2. The advertised average rate of return for mutual funds is NOT what anyone actually got! (up 50%, down 50%, up 50%, down 50% is not 0% - it's a 43.75% loss!) 3. Fees (even as low as 3% total) could bleed you of more than 50% of your future nest egg - OUCH! 4. Your broker/adviser has no legal requirement to do "what's best" for you. They are employed to do what's best for them and their employer. That may sound like a lot of doom and gloom - but this book does an amazing job explaining it all, making it simple, and making it usable. If you're Canadian, you'll need to do some extra research to learn the differences between our country (they're not significant). DON'T LEAVE YOUR FUTURE AND RETIREMENT TO CHANCE. This book is an amazing place to start learning how to invest your future.
