Brilliant tool well worth the money used a lot since buying

Used twice its performing well

I've never been mad keen on multitools - thinking they're just incredibly noisy jack-of-all-trades, but have recently been doing some renovation work and really come to appreciate how good they are for cutting out rotten wood and scraping paint. Because dragging an extension lead up a ladder is an immense pain in the bum I decided to upgrade to cordless, but couldn't justify spending bosch blue money on an occasional-use tool. This product and a bosch-makita battery adaptor and I'm in business for 1/3 the price of a bosch one. And it just works! I've used it much more than I expected it to; trimming guttering, cutting latch holes in door frames etc and it doesn't miss a beat. It's probly not as refined as a posh model but who cares? I'll use it till it dies and then buy the same one again.

Vibrations produced are much stronger than genuine makita product causing elbow pain on first use.

Seems to do jobs required little use at moment

Packed up within a couple of days. The blade even when locked in had intermittent movement from sided to side but was workable. Today tried to use it and even with blade fully locked in wouldn't cut. The motor was going but no vibrations on the blade apart from when you intialy turned it on. Also blade was freely moving from side to side which it shouldn't do. Sending back and have ordered a Makita in place of it.

Good piece of kit for what I need it for. I didn't want to spend a lot on a Makita, as I'd rarely use it, so this cheap option that uses Makita LXT batteries that I have plenty of, was a great alternative. Easy to use, Cuts well. I'd say much noisier than the branded models. It states for use with Makita batteries, which work well however the fit is a little lose.
