so far so good for my 2011 535i. if you follow the included installation. Instructions works seamlessly with the iDrive MMI system. there are a couple of things that are not intuitive so for all your non-direction followers I warned you in advance. it connects flawlessly with Bluetooth and CarPlay and it looks great in person. all the car systems integrate without hassle and you’re able to flip back into your traditional iDrive menus.yes

Unit came with a cable missing and the wires aren’t labeled

The physical installation was quite easy to do. The only problem, which took some time to figure out was the setting of the resolution. The instructions were not quite adequate to describe the procedure to follow. The key was to find the original system resolution, apply it, disconnect the battery, reconnect the battery, and then it worked properly.The unit works great. Happy to have added it to my wife's 2011 BMW 528i. She is happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. La verdad es muy bueno solo q cuando quieres regesar ala pantalla original tira ese error y tambien para q suene el sonido del Bluetooth tienes q conoectarlo al aux la pantalla trea su propio cable para q lo conectas al aux

Worked perfect in my 2012 528i Xdrive.

I'm a little bit disappointed about the item. The wireless connection to use the Android Auto is not working and no where to connect a cable to the system. So i couldn't use my Google map which is the main reason for purchasing the item
