I bought this on 14th June 25 , honest review the quality of sound is really good , finally a good pair of headphones that fits my ear perfectly doesn’t hurt even lying on bed. However the connecting wires to the earpiece are very thin ,if anyone pulls it will definitely snap , Sony should reinforce the cable with something to make it sturdy to last at least confidently for a year. It’s definitely not value headphones for money, hope my few words help people buying this.

I wanted to purchase Sony Premium MDR-XB55AP in-Ear Extra Bass Wired Headphones with Mic due to it's long term unavailability, I've purchased MDR- EX155AP because of it's frequency response range, as it's Sony so sound quality is amazing. Very immersive sound experience. But cable doesn't looks durable. But there are no these kind of Good products in market.

Don’t buy this product from Amazon it’s very bad and not working product. Even after replacement policy Amazon unable to allow replace instead redirecting to chatbot messaging for timepass. I have raised case with Sony but they told it’s not purchased from authorised dealer that meants Amazon allowed to sell products to non authorised dealer. Worst experience and I would suggest to be careful while buying anything from Amazon

Sound quality good, overall good product,, Bought it 9th September 2025, facing mic issue on 6th December 2025.

Nice quality music experience, loud & clear vocal and sound separation, best for gaming and for laptop, And there is no problem in ears for hours of use because of 9mm small driver ,ear tip is soft, no ear irritation, light weight . Thumpy Bass, clear mids , great treble with sony sound signature.

Firstly, the built quality is below average and there are other earphone, such as, realms buds 2 which feels durable; however, the comfort of the EX155 is excellent better than buds 2 and jbl c100. Sound quality - The ex155 is fairly balance; to be specific, the bass is adequate and it doesn't blend with mids and treble; however, the midrange, I find it to be not accurate like it doesn't have enough body and it sounds bit more thiner side. The treble, on the other hand, is not overpowering and it is more towards a smoother presentation and it has enough clarity; although, it doesn't feel that it has enough texture to the instrument but it has a good seperation. Compare with realme buds 2, in my opinion sony sounds better but it doesn't sound as good as KZ EDX; although, it lack in bass but at the same it is more engaging to music. Overall ex155 is decent one and at the same price better alternative available in the market too. The one should be considered with ex155 is about equalization, you need to adjust bass, treble and mids for best possible sound.
