This attractive dawn to dusk porch lamp arrived today and I managed to remove the old lamp and install this in less than 15 minutes.. it fit into the old fixture without any adjustment needed. It has a self test where it comes on in daytime light for a few seconds they turns off. Alternatively, you can cover the sensor and it will come on. The instructions were brief and clear but I did not need them. Because it’s a dawn to dusk light, there is no motion detection. Also, It’s not dimmable which is normal and seems to be very well made. I strongly recommend an led type bulb to prevent this getting hot which might affect the sensor I strongly recommend this if you need this type and style of porch light. A real bargain at the price!

Overall a very good lighting fixture. I would have given it 5 stars but the fixture itself was a little bit crooked - the part that holds the bulb was not quite square with the part that attaches to the wall. I used a torpedo level to check it, but one part or the other was going to be slightly off angle. However, it was only a couple degrees off center so it's not really noticeable unless you're looking at it closely. The light sensing works great. Good light fixture with light sensing for under $20.

Worked great for 6 months, then I turned off the light and it has not come back on. Don’t know what to do. Changed the bulb still didn’t work. I love the look and the ease of never having to worry about turning the light off and on. Just wish the on at the front door worked longer. Now
