I’m pretty sure I’ve purchased nearly every type of chime/spell candle Amazon has to offer. With the exception of some of the more expensive well-known brands, I’ve ALWAYS been disappointed by these multi-packs. The candles are always either broken, super sheer, not truly 1/2 an inch wide and thus too skinny for ceramic chime holders, or the colors are dull/ugly.I was pleasantly surprised by this set. It’s not flawless by any means, but I’ll choose these over any of the other packs of 40+ candles I’ve purchased in the past. I deducted one star because some colors don’t quite match the listing photos/description.The box includes four of each color shown in the photo I’ve attached, but I felt showing two of each was sufficient. Now for a breakdown of what’s good, and what’s not so good about this set. (I’ve been practicing The Craft for twenty years. I know my candles.) *Always remember to trim your wicks every time you light or re-light any candle.…… WHAT’S GOOD:- Not a single broken candle in the bunch.- Colors are mostly very solid (not sheer). The white and blue aren’t quite as good as the rest, but they’re not bad.- Black is *super* black.- Red is unmistakably red. Blood red. (I love this, others may not.)- Yay! Brown candles! You don’t get brown in most of these cheaper sets.- Truly half an inch thick. Thicker than other sets that claim to be half an inch, but then don’t sit straight in holders.- Green is nice. Older reviews had issues with green. No issues here.- Burns clean, but can be used to drip.…… WHAT’S NOT SO GOOD:- A few of them are slightly bent (see blue and purple in photo). Not the end of the world, but will affect dripping.- No grey candles. The box and description show four grey candles. I received two shades of brown.- “Gold” candles? The yellows are a lovely true yellow, and the orange candles are a great solid orange. I suppose the four yellow/orange candles are supposed to represent gold? They’re similar in hue to marigold flowers.- Pinks are a watermelon candy color, and purples are a pastel lavender. No baby pink, no deep purple. Fine with me, but may not suit others.All in all, these are great for the price. Certainly better than those sets that come in flat plastic trays. These come in a cardboard box, which I prefer as an environmentalist.

Update: company never sent the replacement as promised The company is amazing and I only buy from them now ! Great customer service ! Truly impressed Colors are inconsistent but it’s not that big a deal there are a few that I’m. Unsure of what color they were supposed to be …. Some of the colors are great and others are ok but the color is all the way through. They burn ok for the most part, some popping. These are great when k can’t make my own and there are 4 of each color set and the black are a true black which is amazing ! I’m happy with this purchase just a little upset by some of the colors but they are guarantees so I’ll look into that with the seller and see what happensIm sure they can trade some out or at least I hope they canIf they can then I’d definitely purchase again if not then I’ll have to think about it because the ones I’m happy with. I’mSuper happy with but the ones I’m not I’m really not ….Hope this helps
