It's sharp, for sure. It's also compact and built well. The only problem I had at first is trying to open it. The mechanics of opening it is pretty much impossible unless you use something to lift the trigger, your fingernails won't do.

Sharp & compact, but the file gets in the way of overall function. It's awkward. This won't be my go-to clipper.

They fold down to scantly more than 0.25 inches and when folded, they don’t have any sharp edges to snag on things in your travel bag.The blade is not very large but is very sharp. The only feature keeping this from 5 stars is the file part isn’t very coarse. It gets the job done, but the filing grooves are not very deep or wide so it’s not as efficient for that finishing touch.
