Gaming laptop with good specs within expectations
Reasonably priced for the specs that are offered. Seller was prompt to handle the order, though i would have liked a little better specification details about the RAM, whether it is in dual channel or single. Setup is easy but takes lot of time to finish and having to sign in/create an Microsoft account is rather annoying as you have to do it without options to skip it and do it later. Didn't test enough to discover any particular problem yet, but had some slow downs here and there which is quite surprising, maybe due to HP bloatware...

Dead battery in less than 5 months
Battery is dead already. It's been less than 5 months and the computer dies every time we unplug it. We're working with HP but they're not very helpful and don't want to replace it

Ryzen 5 + RTX 4050 = Bang for Buck performance
This comes with a 1tb SSD and 16gig, all you need for a few games and handle todays triple AAA titles. Now, don't expect top tier performance, but it will play games at decent frame rates and graphics settings. Having an rtx 40series card allows you run games with rtx enabled + dlss + frame gen, aiding in boosting frames per second. Example, this can run space marines 2 @ med high settings @ 80+ fps and with the ryzen 5 keep the frames smooth. Only con is that the monitor is not nearly as bright as you would like.
