I love this vest. I wanted an option that didn't carry weight in the chest and this is perfect. It fits great and with all the weights loaded, they all stay in place during all kinds of workouts. If you don't have all the weights loaded, the weights may slip out when doing some movements like mountain climbers. I got the vest to add a challenge to my bootcamp style workouts and I also wear it on walks. I think it's a great product overall.

I'm a UK buyer and would highly recommend buying this vest. The delivery from the USA was quicker than advertised with no issues. The vest is brilliant. Being able to build the weight up gradually works really well. It's really comfortable and easy to wear. The drawcords at the sides give great flexibility in adjusting the fit. They are long, as others have said, but could easily be cut. I just tuck them up out of the way. I tend to wear this under my jumper or jacket. It has added a great (and buildable) level of challenge to my walks and supplements my weights programme perfectly. Having a vest that is washable was important to me and this one is just that. The weights come out of the pockets and you're left with an easily washable garment. It is more expensive than others but, definitely worth it for me.

I've been dealing with back pain that I'm convinced is caused by a weak back and poor posture. I decided to try a weighted vest to improve my back/core strength and initially bought a much cheaper brand, thinking the difference in quality wouldn't merit a higher price. After one short walk with the prior vest, my neck and shoulders were killing me! After doing some research, I found this vest and couldn't be happier! The design - with the adjustable laces around the torso - ensure that the weight is supported by the back and abs, rather than just hanging from the shoulders. The weights are easy to insert, the laces are easy to adjust, and the fit is very comfortable. I highly recommend this weighted vest, especially if you're concerned about neck/shoulder pain that comes with other brands.

I always appreciate the reviews given by someone who has owned a product for some time. That’s what this review is. I’ve had this vest for just over 2 years. I have low bone density and wanted increased weight while on walks. I’ve worn it several times a week on average since I bought it. It has held up wonderfully. I love the adjustable sides. I adjusted them once at the beginning and haven’t needed to play with them at all since. The weights stay put in the pockets but are easily removable for washing. I’ve not washed it much as it hasn’t held much of a smell. But washing is easy. Just remove the sand cubes, wash on gentle, hang to dry. Vest is true to size. For reference I’m 5’3, 114 lbs. and got the small. 49 years old. I love that it’s not so heavy that it’s cumbersome, but you definitely feel it. I walk the same pace as before with no problem but feel like I’m getting a 2-fer with aerobic and strength training exercise. It’s 7/25 and I wanted to update. This vest is still going strong. Love that the weight is evenly distributed. Walk sometimes with a friend who doesn’t love her narrower vest. Also mine looks as great as it did the year I bought it. I still use it several times a week. Sending good vibes to all you low bone density women out there, or those who just want a little extra oomph in their walk.

One of my Christmas presents was a 5lb Hyperwear Vest. I have been wearing the weighted vest every day, not only for exercising but to do house work, yard work and sometimes when grocery shopping. the weighted vest is very comfortable as the weights are centered so you never feel off balance. MY only complaints the material of the vest snags very easily, I would also like to purchase a replacement vest without the weights, but not able to see that option available. Being only 3 1/2 months my endurance has improved, better flexibility, stronger in hips and legs, and as crazy as it sounds the weighted vest has a calming effect. I am also in my mid seventies. BEST PURCHASE!
