This was supposed to arrive tomorrow but it was delivered earlier. I also ordered a laptop stand so both laptop and the stand came in a single Amazon recyclable package. There was a dent in the package but otherwise there were no defects with the device. I captured the video as I unboxed just to be on the safer side. All the device specs matched. The laptop looks premium and reliable. The display isn't exactly marvelous but its good and there were no issues when I ran the pixel and bleeding tests. Sound is also okayish. Camera is very poor but the HDR option increases the quality a bit. Backlit keyboard has two brightness levels: default and dim. Battery levels reached 40 percent after usage of 4 hours. It took approx. 30 mins for 100% charge. Heating was minimal with regular browsing. I dont use Microsoft Apps so I uninstalled them and Mcfee trial is for 1 month. 512 GB SSD so I partitioned and created a D drive with 250 GB so that C drive can contains apps and software and essentials, while D can be used to save all my personal files. Changed everything to dark mode as well to save more power. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase as of now. I will update this review if I encounter any other challenges or issues. Edit [Warranty Correction]: So, the 1 year warranty of the device was pre-activated in September, but usually it should only get activated on the date of purchase. This is a pretty normal thing and no need to worry. You can contact HP Support through Whatsapp(contact info available on HP Dashboard). First, a chatbot answers your queries but if its something that needs human intervention then an agent joins the chat. You are asked to provide your Order ID, Product Number, Serial Number along with the invoice(there are three different invoices on Amazon Orders for this purchase, download the Warranty/Pslip pdf as it has the Serial Number on it). Also don't send the invoice as pdf, use a pdf to png converter or better take a screenshot of the invoice and send it on chat. You will be asked to provide your basic info and a case will be opened, and it will be a confirmed through mail. I was told it would take 7 business days for the warranty change to reflect but mine got corrected in a couple of days though there was no trace of case on the HP dashboard. The HP Support response was quick, lasting only less than half hour to get a case opened on my behalf. In case you are a faced with the warranty issue, follow this procedure.

Good laptop for students. I purchased this one for my niece he is 11th standard student. After 11 month use the ssd was corrupt. I aproch hp support centre in allahabad. They guys act promptly and replace the ssd with new one. Most important thing is hp technician visited my home which is far away from the city of allahabad.

I have been using this laptop for last 4-5 months. The laptop shows great performance. The only thing I did not like was that the air vents are too small and the laptop slightly heats up for even the simplest of tasks. The laptop is smooth for gaming and everything but the heating issue is a major problem. It does not come with a fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is good enough for light tasks. The camera is not all that good for video calls or recording videos. The display is not that great if you are a content creator who needs perfect screen contrast and all. Overall it's a good laptop for this price point but id say go for Pavillion series if you have good budget. Rest assured it does you office work perfectly if you ignore the heating issue.

Neither mic nor speaker were working. HP is a terrible company to deal with - could not call them….just ended up in a loop talking to a chatbot. Horrible experience. Finally found out the the OS was corrupted. HP refused to take up responsibility. Finally needed the help of a consumer rights organisation to get a refund.

Very good laptop, using it mainly for development, works pretty well, good delivery also, worth it

The laptop was delivered without "MS OFFICE 21" (preinstalled) as stated in the Device Specifications and Product Gallery . Had to purchase MS Office from Microsoft and install. Amazon is yet to respond to my grievance . Performance of Device othervise is great.

Fast and smooth. Hope good for daily activities like watch video, browsing and coding. Screen resolution is not 100%RGB check the spec before buy.
