Worked well a few times but now it starts but shuts off without pushing any water out. I've made sure the intake is cleared of debris, no kinks in the hose and even disconnected the hose but unable to get it to drain the water from the pool cover. I bought this because of the "1 year warranty" but that is worthless because you cannot contact the company. I will never buy this again, mainly because there is zero support when you have questions or warranty concerns.

The fact that it turns on in like 2 inches of water and shuts off 3/4 inch almost makes it set and forget it. 26-foot power cord is long enough to reach my outlet without any additional cords. Built tough with a 115V motor, it handles not only pools but also hot tubs, rooftops, and basements with ease. I used it in a flooded driveway before putting it on the pool and it handled that without issue. While it's a bit heavier than smaller models I've had, the robust construction justifies the investment for serious jobs. I have a feeling it's going to last a long time. Overall, this pump earns high marks from me for reliability and value.

Recently purchased this pump to use in my basement during heavy rain, and it works very well. It saved me a lot of effort in clearing out the water. The construction feels sturdy and solid, no cheap feeling at all. I removed the base to allow for extra low level pumping, which worked great. So far, so good. No complaints at all. Definitely a good choice!
