I must admit that I am very pleased with California Naturals Coconut Shampoo. For the first time, I have found a shampoo that is both clean and gentle, and at the same time, it gives my hair a refreshing feeling. The fact that it is 99% natural was a strong point for me, but the biggest and most surprising point was that it really cleans well without taking away my hair's natural oil. The smell of coconut is gentle, and it is very nice. It does not smell very strong at all, just a fresh and light tropical scent that is very calming during the shower. I have a problem with dry scalp with many shampoos, especially with those that are labeled 'sulfate free', but this one has so far left my scalp feeling and being calm and relaxed. There was no itchiness, no flakes, just soft and clean hair. What I love the most is that it is vegan and is free from parabens, silicones and all the other ingredients that I usually try to keep away from. After every wash, my hair feels smoother and healthier. Even my ends feel softer which is not the case with other brands that I usually do not notice right away. It is amazing for both men's and women's hair and I believe that it would be appropriate, in the long run, for any hair type. I have made up my mind to switch to this as my daily shampoo and will be trying out more products from California Naturals. It feels good to use something that is not only good for my hair but also for the earth. Highly recommend.

Loveeee this shampoo. As someone who has naturally dry hair, but can never find a mositurizing shampoo that works without either being too heavy, or not enough. This shampoo is amazing. Nice light scent, my hair has never been SO soft and feels so clean. I usually have to wash my hair every other day (wavy/curly girl) and with the buildup and dryness of scalp, I wash often but with this shampoo I can go 3-4 days without washing and my scalp still feels good! Also, it's a woman owned company! Highly recommend!

Wanted natural clean. A rinse and repeat required. Not much of a scent.

Was looking to try a new shampoo and stumbled across this brand. I read many great reviews and ultimately purchased. The shampoo lathers so well!! So far I’ve noticed how hydrating it leaves my hair. I do wish the scent would stay in my hair/ scalp. It does smell great when I’m in the shower. Also I feel I should mention that I didn’t purchase the matching conditioner, so maybe using both together has more benefits.

I ordered this because it scored so high in the Yuka app for how clean the ingredients are. I absolutely love the way it feels and smells in my hair. It’s a win for me! Perfect lather and makes my hair feel shiny and frizzless.

Leaves my hair so nice and clean! Lately I've been feeling like my freshly washed hair is weighed down with water deposits and it gets oily in 24 hours. After reading about all the *STUFF* that's in most shampoos, I thought I'd try something without all the sulfates, parabens, etc. So glad I did! My hair is soft and shiny, and actually feels lighter on my scalp! Highly recommended!

It says that it is coconut scented. It does have a hint of coconut, but the overall scent is floral and cloying. I find it very off-putting. I won’t be using it again.

I hadn’t got this one in a while and forgot how refreshing the scent is!! You’ll also get that natural clean with this. Enjoy and try different ones is my recommendation!!
